A meal after skiing.
Next up, another sake series from Joetsu.
Kiminoi
Light and refreshing.
Less sweet than the ayuu masamune.
Tastes a little like rice? I don't dislike it.
Easy to drink.
I had a drink with a close acquaintance at Eel, a recent New Year's tradition. The first bottle was at Tateno River, which I forgot to take a picture of, and the second was my first bottle of Kiminoi. We drank two bottles together.
Bessan, Happy New Year! Kikukawa, I knew you had a restaurant in Uenoge, Setagaya-ku, but I didn't know you also have one in Kanda. I didn't know they have a good selection of sake as well. I will try eel and sake next time!
Shinshin SY, I look forward to working with you again this year. It seems that you have three stores: Kanda, Hibiya, and Uenoge. I went to the Hibiya store this time, but I didn't know there was one in Uenoge. I didn't know there was one in Uenoge.
Kiminoi Honjozo Nama-nazake (photo left)
Kiminoi Shuzo, Myoko City, Niigata Prefecture
This is the second aluminum canned sake I have experienced after Kikusui Funaguchi Can.
The aroma gives the impression of strong alcohol.
The mouthfeel is gentle, but the sweetness and richness come through strongly.
It is less sweet than the FUNAGUCHI can, but it is easy to drink and can be enjoyed on its own.
It is best paired with Hokke for those who prefer something with a stronger flavor.
Purchased at Nagaoka Ponchu-kan.

Kiminoi Sake Brewery / "Kiminoi" Niigata Prefecture
It wasn't the person from the brewery who responded to me several times, but I asked for an elegant Yamahai anyway and was allowed to taste it.
Kimi no I Yamahai Junmai Ginjyo Unfiltered Nama-shu.
The alcohol content is 18%, but it is refreshing and elegant.
Kiminoi Dry Koshino-Iki
This is a regular evening drink of the brewery's staff. Mineral and easy to drink. It is labeled as "dry," but it is not that dry, and you only feel a little bit of spiciness afterwards.
No kanzuri this time 😅.
The 6th Japanese Sake Festival @ Osaka Bay Tower⑯.
I had a good impression of Kiminoi after drinking it several times. It is not so easy to buy in Kansai.
I drank the following
Kimi no I Yamahai Junmai Ginjyo Unfiltered Nama-shu
It was as good as when we drank it at home.
Keishin Yamahai Junmai Daiginjo Koshi-tanrei Unfiltered Ichidoki Hi-iri
I think it was quite sweet. I would like to drink more of Keishin.
Japanese Sake Fest @ Osaka Bay Tower (・ω・`)
It is very spicy but the flavor is sweet!
It is very light and fresh, and at 850 yen including tax for 4 gou of sake, it is a monster!
Kiminoi Sake Brewery is a great brewer!
Good evening.
I am the first Kimi no Ii
This is an amazing sake!
All sakes with the word "Oni" in the name are intensely dry!
This one is tangy too!
I don't know what a drunken demon would do, but it's too much!
Hello.
I've been going through hiyaoroshi, regular sake, honjozo, and junmai ...... in order, so I didn't get around to this junmai ginjo.
I'd like to get it as soon as I find it now that I know it's a good sake brewer!
The Niigata Yamahai is also interesting!
The name is amazing.
In the mouth, the sweetness and umami quickly swell, but before they fully develop, the alcohol quickly kills them.
The brewing alcohol is very strong.
It seems to be a good match for a well-seasoned food.
I think the balance of umami and sharpness is better at room temperature.
Nanoha, thank you for your hard work💦.
It's hard work just to take pictures! It's amazing that you can remember your favorite drink after drinking so much 😳‼️ and talking to yourself on the way 🤣👍
Good evening, Nanoha 😃.
It's great to see you drinking 🥴 and raising more and more 🤗.
That's right, 2 drunks will be finished in the afternoon 😆.
Let's drink again 👋
Pon, no - it was hard work! I had to post it, lol, and it's still there. I don't remember most of it...just whether I liked it or not.
I was giving it to you when I was sleepy, so I was really talking to myself...lol...lol...
Hi J & N. ˊ ˋ* We were really drunk together! We had so much fun at the sake festival that I bought matching sake T-shirts so I'll wear them next time lol.
It is clear with grayish tints, and has aromas of green bamboo, Kamishinko, honeysuckle, and pear. The attack is rather strong, with firm acidity, moderate sweetness, and a rather long finish.
Kiminoi Honjozo, hot sake
I went to the Echigo-Kenshin SAKE Festival 2023.
It rained all day Saturday ☔️ and it was about 12 degrees with occasional downpours😭.
I drank a lot of different kinds of sake, but I was most thankful for the hot sake from Kimi no Ii.
I didn't have time to take any pictures at all.
The purchases at the venue were a daiginjo of Hokusetsu and a marvelous secret sake of Tenryohai. I also bought a bottle of Echino Kanmei Niigata limited edition autumn sake near the inn.
Lunch was a seafood bowl at Gun-chan in Takada. This cost 1,210 yen, and I had it with vinegared rice ^ ^.
A yakitori restaurant where the only sake available is Kimi no I.
One good sake is all you need to be particular about.
The yakitori is also delicious,
Kimi no Ii is served lukewarm with chirori,
The thick glass of warmed sake is mellow and very tasty.
It's very tasty.
I saved the sake that came with the meal on the Shu*Kura Sake Train, but now I'm finally going to drink it! I'll post the other drinks I drank on the Shu*Kura when I have more time. I'll post the other drinks I had at Shu*Kura when I have more time, but it was a bad train in a good way!
It was a bad train in a good way! It is a delicious sake that is very refreshing on its own, but I think it is probably the best food sake, and it goes well with anything! The amount and alcohol content are just right!
I served it with horse sashimi, fried eggplant and shiitake mushrooms, and lettuce salad!
