Niigata Sake-no-jin OSAKA11
Kimi no I booth.
While I was waiting for Bouken at the stand table at the beginning of the event, one of Kiminoi's brewers asked me, "Excuse me, but have we met before?" He asked me, "Excuse me, have we met before?
Thank you for remembering that I had spoken to you twice🙏.
Oh, I'll ask for your name next time 💦.
Junmai Aki-agari.
Kimi no I is known for its elegant Yamahai, but since we're here, we thought we'd try the Autumn Agari of the season, so here it is, a fast brewing Autumn Agari. It is easy to drink and delicious with a gentle, mellow flavor.
Junmai Unfiltered Dry Aged in the storehouse
This is a slightly spicy sake that has been aged at room temperature for a while. It is also good warmed up.
Kiminoi Yamahai Junmai Ginjo
This one is fire-aged and has a standard clean, elegant and refreshing acidity.
I was talking a lot and forgot to take a picture 💦.
Yamahai Junmai Ginjo Unfiltered Nama Sake
Rich, chocolatey, slightly lactic acidity, delicious. Forgot to take a picture 💦.
I was talking about how few people were there even though it was Saturday and wondering if the event would be held next year, when I heard that Kintetsu was unable to announce the event.
Kiminoi-san, who I personally have a good impression of.
It seems that the brewery remembered Mr. Nemuchi, whom they had met several times at events😊.
We drank
Junmai Aki-agari
Round, refreshing and easy to drink. Food type
Junmai Unfiltered
This is also an autumn-only hiyaoroshi-like sake.
It has more impact than Aki-agari. Is this also a food type?
Yamahai Junmai Ginjo
Yamahai is delicious here.
Forgot to take a picture💦.
Yamahai Junmai Ginjo Nama Genjyo
I've had this before and it's still delicious 😋.
Forgot to take a picture💦.
The brewery staff was disappointed that there were so few people there on a Saturday.
Maybe because it was a three-day weekend? He said something like...
This was the end of our three-day, two-night trip to conquer Niigata's sake. The 86 sake breweries in the Ponshu-kan have all been consumed. Unfortunately, there was one brewery that stopped brewing sake, so the total number of breweries was 86.
I was afraid that I would get tired of writing detailed specifications and impressions, so I took pictures of the minimum number of breweries and the comments from the Ponshu-kan. I was surprised at how accurate these comments were.
My overall impression was that there were many alcoholic sakes that were suitable for warming up, and that many of them were a waste to drink cold.
Purchased at a sales event at a department store in Yokohama.
I didn't hesitate to buy this one because they said it goes well with cheese. ‼️ It certainly went well with it ✨.
I could have gone with cured ham too 👌
I can't find the location...! Why? At the Joetsu Myoko Sado Chishu and Snacks Yukikuni Shoten in Niigata Station.
A cup of sake at the corner. In a good way, it's just like water. It's a summer-only sake, with a modest 12 degrees, so it's nice that it doesn't get too hot.
I wanted to drink it at home, but unfortunately it was sold out.... I wanted to drink water after taking a bath and drink this one slowly 😭
Drinking in the room at a hotel near Niigata Station.
It was a refreshing drink after the bath.
It was also good for a pick-me-up drink after the bath the next morning.
We will continue today with what we have received.
I took the first bite to see what it was like.
Wow, the balance is good!
Sweetness and acidity, a little aroma, and drinkability, all in a small package.
It is a perfect sake for a mealtime drink!
I couldn't prepare kanzuri, but it surely goes well with it!
