I've never had this sake before❗️. There are many delicious sake in Tochigi, so I'm looking forward to opening the bottle 😀. The aroma is subdued❗️ I'm not sure if this is the first time I've had it, but I'm sure it will be the last. When the temperature rises slightly, the sweetness and sourness are refined and the aftertaste disappears like water👍. The overall balance of the sake was good and it was very easy to drink😄.

Tasted chilled despite the back of the bottle recommending room temp or warm. I'll revisit when room temp. Nose is quiet. Flavor is forward, alcohol and marshmallow, some straw citrus spice. Texture is full and round, but the flavor dies quickly and leaves a spicy alcohol and black pepper finish.

At Izakaya Ebisu When I received a letter from the owner saying that the restaurant will close at the end of this year due to his old age, I had no choice but to go. When I looked at the sake menu after a long absence, I was surprised to see that only four-pack bottles were available! It seems that this is due to the limited number of customers. With only one bottle, we wanted an all-rounder... After much deliberation, we chose Tsuji Zenbei's Yamahai Junmai, which was reasonably priced and seemed to have a strong flavor! The label reads "strictly forbidden to experts", as if it was designed to be a Yamahai for beginners. Yes, I am always a beginner! The aroma is slightly banana-like. The mouthfeel is calm and mild. The sweetness is mild and the umami of rice is strong. The acidity in the aftertaste gives a refreshing impression and keeps you from getting bored. Although the rice is 80% Yamada-Nishiki polished, you do not feel any cloying taste, which may be due to the power of the "super-thickness self-polishing" as stated on the label on the back of the bottle. Sashimi has a sweet strawberry flavor. It adds umami flavor to vegetables. A well-balanced food sake Sad to see it close, but thank you for providing a place to enjoy good sake and food!

This is the first time for me to drink one of Tsuji-Zenbei's which I used to buy a lot in the past. The soft umami spreads slowly in the mouth, and the smoothness of the 17% alcohol content is unnoticeable. The soft base makes it a good match with Japanese food.

I cut my hair. People around me said I looked like an announcer 😅. I was told I looked like an announcer😅. Well, first time at Tsuji Zenbei😁. It says be careful when opening the bottle. So I opened the bottle slowly I almost blew it out! Vigorous 👍 Fruity sweet aroma Starts with sweetness and it ends with the bitter taste of lees. Delicious! I drink it swishily!

In both aroma and mouthfeel, it is a straight dry sake with no peculiarities. However, after a while in the mouth, a firm, sweet taste of rice emerges. The aftertaste is also somewhat spicy, but the taste of rice lingers softly on the palate. It is a dry sake, but it has a very gentle taste with a core of sweetness.

I bought it in Utsunomiya when I stopped by. It seems to be a very small brewery, and it is said that it has never made it to Tokyo. It has a soft taste of rice and a soft mouthfeel. It is a great match for the autumn flavors during a meal.
