Delicious in a Wineglass, Gold Award in the
Almost wine in a wine glass!
Delicious! As expected from my favorite prefecture, Oita!
As I type this, I've already drunk it all, so I can't give you a detailed report, all I can recall is that it was delicious.
Sanwa Shuzui, famous for its shochu Iichiko, is a Japanese sake brewery.
It seems the company was initially founded as a sake brewery.
I really wanted to drink a certain sake, so I bought it together when I popped into Hasegawa Sake Shop!
It is gorgeous and juicy with a light gasiness. A trace of bitterness at the end.
How come they don't sell this delicious sake?
It's a modern sake and they should push more sake 🤔.
Refreshingly fruity, gently sweet, moderately acidic, with a hint of schwarziness. It is delicious.
It is said to have won the gold medal in the "2024 Delicious Sake in a Wine Glass Award", but I didn't know that and drank it with my usual sake cup. Next time, I will definitely try it in a wine glass.
Sake made from Hinohikari rice, an excellent rice rice.
The aroma is fresh and gorgeous, with a slight soy sauce nuance. It has a wonderful honey-like sweetness and rich flavor. I think the fragrance comes out when it is near room temperature.
The flavor is worthy of the label and name.
Event. Sake Fair 2024.
They pour a little over half into an inokuchi (50ml) at a time.
So one glass is about 30ml 🤔.
Sake.
The color is clear.
The taste is sweet and sour.
Mouthfeel is mellow rather than refreshing.
There is little fragrance.
Sake with a refreshing and fresh impression 🍶☺️
The sake fair was being held in Kyushu, so I chose one of the sake from the fair.
Wakapai.
I made a mistake. It is Waka Botan. I think this is the first time.
It is Sanwa Shuzo, famous for "Iichiko" shochu, isn't it?
It is totally different from shochu. It is sweet and delicious. If you ask whether it is juicy or not, it is not so juicy. It is the opposite of shochu. It is full of the feeling of rice.
I wanted to drink it at home with my favorite type.
I wanted to take home Wakapai, too.
The people who know Wakapai are on this side. The young people I drank with didn't know.
Manachie-san Good evening. I wanted to bring home Wakanohana, too, since he is a double-faced fatty! I'm a fat guy with a double-faced sword, so I wanted to take Wakanohana home!
Mr. Notochi.
Good evening...
Wakapai....isn't it nice 🤤?
If you're right about the Wakapai season, you're an old man 🤣but you look young according to your comment 💦I recently drank another Waka Botan and it's delicious 🤤.

This Sake is fruity and has a soft mouth feel. Strong aroma of rice when opening the bottle. There are nice flavors of pear and melon. The soft and juicy mouth feel makes me want to have another sip. The finish is clean with a slight hint of caramel.

Buy the label🤣I love these old-fashioned labels 😍.
It has a gorgeous apple aroma, but it's not cloyingly fruity.
It has a light acidity and a slight effervescence.
It's more mellow and drinkable than fruity: ☺️
I tried it up to the 4th day, but the first day is by far the best 👆.
Come to think of it, this was my first Oita sake 😅.
Yum!!!
I bought a replacement for the broken glass... same one 🤣 because you know... it's easy to use...
I wanted to buy the piccolo glass you bought, but I gave up on it because I'm sure I'll break it at home 😅I won't be posting about the new glass for a while!

A daisy grasshopper or a tree locust on the screen door 😳(4th photo).
Isn't it too early in the season to come out? Mr. Grasshopper...
Hello, Kozo-san 🐦.
I see that there is a sake called "peony" in Oita! I like mellow sake, so I'm curious about it ❣️ come to think of it, it's blooming beautifully right now ✨Grasshoppers might be early 😳we're full of overwintered stinkbugs 🤣.
Good evening, kozo 😃.
Buying labels! It would be great to win 🤗
Insects increase in spring! Grasshoppers🦗 are still cute... but in the summer I don't know where they invade from, the big G's 😱 sometimes appear and scare the crap out of me 😰.
kino.
Good morning 😍Oh!
I am very happy if you can relate to the repo I mentioned😍Oh, wow! I didn't know you are a brewer of iichiko! I didn't know that 💦 googled it and found out that they also make wine and brandy!
Pon.
Good morning 🤩.
There is another sake named peony 🤩It seems to be a common name 😅Peony is a fragile flower just like cherry blossoms 💐It is breathtaking when it is in full bloom...stink bugs...big ones come up to the 4th floor!
Jay & Nobby.
Good morning 😍G...
It's really nice when you win a label purchase😍When I pick up a sake I don't know, I look at the back label to judge the specs and the brewer's thoughts 😊G...please refrain from doing so 🤣.
Mr. T.KISO
Good morning♪
Oh! Did you drink this sake? I'm glad you can relate to it.......as expected of the heavyweight members of Sake-no-wa, they drink many kinds of sake 😅I didn't know it was a brewery of iichiko....
