Thank you for having it! Waka Botan Junmai Ginjo!
I have never had much sake from Oita, but when I stopped by a liquor store on a business trip to Oita and was told that it was the brewer of Iichiko shochu, I wanted to try it and bought it.
It has a refreshing yet robust flavor. The lingering bitterness and acidity are subtle and moderate.
As you may know if you have had Iichiko shochu, the aftertaste was overall refreshing and somewhat similar to the taste of Iichiko lol.

A sweet, light-flavored sake.
It is gentle and pleasant for a Kyushu sake.

⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
No fizz, slightly sweet with low acidity, mellow, umami-guchi type.
Not bad, but I personally would like to see more acidity.
So, I rated it .5 down.
As it says on the back, "mellow and well-made," this sake has a mild aroma and is sweet but tasty! I liked it because it was relatively suited to today's palate.
It is delicious with slightly fatty food!
Souvenirs from last year's trip to Beppu with Aji and him.
The brewery that makes Napoleon in downtown.
Waka Botan is the main sake line.
Fukukino, which I bought because I had never seen it before.
The label says it is a sake brewed with local rice.
The low white rice also made me happy, as it is a local sake.
Local sake, always sake, is good at room temperature or warmed up.
This sake has a strong, old-fashioned flavor.
In a word, it is delicious.
Oita has many breweries that make both shochu and sake.
