Sake Day Event ⑥
A fruity and refreshing aroma, with a clean and refreshing mouthfeel.
It is a rich, sweet Daigin with a juicy sweetness.
Accompanied by gyoza (dumplings)
Sake Go Around (4)
All the stores are crowded with participants. It's kind of nice when you pass someone with a badge on the street. ☺️
This one is made with Hinohikari, which I always enjoy. The freshly squeezed, slightly fizzy taste is also expressed in the fire-roasted rice, with a good balance of sourness and sweetness.
The cooked rice is delicious!
800 yen for appetizer
It has a fruity flavor. The juicy sweetness spreads on the palate, and the clean, unctuous aftertaste further accentuates its cleanliness. It is less distinctive than expected, giving the impression of a modern, easy-drinking sake.
Final Kyushu Souvenir
Local sake brewed with Hinohikari rice from Oita Prefecture
I love stories like this.
Sake with sweetness and freshness, just like the label says!
I've always found Kyushu sake to be generally sweet, but maybe that's just a coincidence?
Soy sauce is sweet too.
Thank you for having it! Waka Botan Junmai Ginjo!
I have never had much sake from Oita, but when I stopped by a liquor store on a business trip to Oita and was told that it was the brewer of Iichiko shochu, I wanted to try it and bought it.
It has a refreshing yet robust flavor. The lingering bitterness and acidity are subtle and moderate.
As you may know if you have had Iichiko shochu, the aftertaste was overall refreshing and somewhat similar to the taste of Iichiko lol.
