This is my 50th check-in! And it's my first time in Saga Prefecture, so naturally I chose Nabeshima! Slightly gassy, sweet, delicious, juicy, and well-balanced... this is Nabeshima! It is a perfect accompaniment to a meal, and it has a nice sharpness that enhances and resets the dish. The 50th bottle of Pon-Shu, and again, a Pon-Shu beginner was shocked!

Sawanoi's standard Junmai Dai-harakuchi, its nama-shu. I didn't know such a thing existed. I had never heard of it before. The aroma of the top shelf has a twangy, alcoholic flavor. Wow, it brings a richness to my poor heart. It's very spicy...and fresh, with a little acidity...it's an eye-opening taste. No, this is already a beauty.

My favorite Hanamup. This time it is Akita Sake Komachi with a divine orange label. When the bottle is opened and poured into a glass, it has a sweet aroma typical of Hanamup. In the mouth, it gives the impression of sweet and sour with less of the rich sweetness of Hanamup. At the end of drinking, there is a slight accent of bitterness and the umami of rice. It is naturally delicious as a stand-alone dessert sake, but we also recommend pairing it with sashimi and sushi as a mid-meal drink.

I had only purchased Koshu Umebayashi a couple of times at a sake brewery's direct sales outlet, but I never expected to see it at Koyama Shoten, a sacred place for Japanese sake. I couldn't believe my eyes and looked twice. And I was told that it was from Koyama Shoten PB, so how is that possible? I was even more confused. Sato Shuzo also produces another brand called Nakadaya, but I have yet to try it. I have never had a sake from Sato Sake Brewery, let alone a straight kumi, and my only impression was of Koshu Umebayashi, but I was aware that it was a brewery that made a very classic food sake. I took a sip without paying attention to the aroma, and at that moment, I felt a strong impact similar to a sense of deja vu: "I know this aroma. This is like...Kameizumi cel24? Or is it a hana-yosu? Yes. It is a tremendous pineapple aroma. Both the standing aroma and the hint of pineapple! I happened to get two bottles of Hana-yosu recently, but I'm fine with this one. It's so similar to the pineapple that I think I'm already full of pineapple. Did you replace the label with the contents? LOL! If you drink it thinking it is Koshu Umehirin, you will be confused by the gap in aroma and taste, which is so different from the standard product. However, I think it is a sake that will impress those who like this type of sake.

Today I took the day off work to have a lunchtime drink from hiking Mt. On the way home, I stopped by Koyama Shoten and bought Kunigon for the first time in a while. It is a special junmai sake made with Minamiaizu's Yume-no-Kou. It has a fresh aroma like that of LaFrance. It has a smooth texture with a rich sweetness and umami flavor, and the final taste is very satisfying with the robustness that is typical of Kunigon. By the way, it is amazing that Koyama Shoten is so crowded even during the daytime on weekdays.

Good morning, Jay & Nobby. I really recommend Mt. Takao on a weekday. Takao Onsen (hot spring) was temporarily closed yesterday, so we couldn't go there. Koyama Shoten is truly an exciting place, just like an amusement park.

The God of alcohol is watching what I do. Maybe. In February, I was hospitalized for donation of hematopoietic stem cells through the bone marrow bank. On the day I was discharged from the hospital, I was on my way home when I received a call from Koyama Shoten informing me that the reserved bottle of brewer's kuheiji nigori had arrived. After returning home, I went to pick up the Kuheiji, thinking that there might be more rare sake on weekdays than on weekends, although my body felt a little heavy. ...... Jigen Sake Mirai was on sale! Thus, Pi-tama went home with a bottle of Kuheiji Nigori and a bottle of Jigin Sake Mirai. Chan chan. But there was more to the story. The next time we went to Koyama Shoten, we got a bottle of Imi. The next time I went to Koyama Shoten, I had a bottle of Imi White and a bottle of Jikin Tokusen Sei. 3 times I bought the lineup in the picture and Imi White. The strength of the pull is scary 😱. I must continue to do good deeds 😋. The taste is delicious 😋😋😋😋😋 Fresh and gassy. Fresh and gassy, with a gorgeous ginjo aroma. The balance of umami acidity and bitterness, sweetness and spiciness are in the middle range. Perfectly balanced sake that brings out the full flavor of the rice. Jikon Jikon Jikon♪ Sake Mirai's Jikin is also very good. This slight difference in perfection creates a big difference in taste. I was impressed by how much attention to detail and thoroughness went into making this difference. 2,200 yen without tax

The name is perfect for the season: 🍶 New Sake Competition Gorgeous ginjo aroma. Slightly gassy. Soft and gentle mouthfeel and light acidity. It is smooth and crisp. 😋😋😋😋😋 Medium sweetness and dryness. This is the sake of Kamo Kanehide, aiming for the gold medal in the New brew of sake competition. A gorgeous yet deliciously well-balanced sake that does not make you tired of drinking. It has a harmonious taste that I don't understand. If you taste it as if you were a judge, which is written on the back label, it will win the gold medal! 5400 yen 👍 excluding tax
