We found this aged old sake at Tajiri last month.
We opened the bottle after it had been stored for 13 years at a liquor store.
I imagined it would be amber-colored and look like a dead leaf, but it is not at all like that 😯 It is light amber-colored and light, with a slight aroma of aging.
The year 2012 was the year of the London Olympics and the opening of the Tokyo Sky Tree.
It was something like, I drank up the precious sake in two days, and I am grateful to the liquor store for aging it.

It has been aged for seven and a half years at a sake brewery. We visited on a whim on the first day of consecutive holidays and discovered 💡.
Mr. Tajiri sells aged old sake on a spot basis. I had no choice but to bring it to him when I came across it.
I immediately opened the bottle at home. The aged aroma is amazing. The color is a little amber. It has a bitter taste like dead leaves. My wife didn't like it and returned it. It is a matter of taste, but this is also a once in a lifetime experience, so it might be better to enjoy a small amount 🍶.
The fourth picture is my lunch of the day, an eel bowl set meal at Ichiba-tei for 1,780 yen 😋.

More than 20 years ago, when I was in Numazu, there was a blind sake tasting of Kubota at Nagashima Sake Brewery, and I remember that many of the regulars mistook Manju for Hyakusyu.
Kubota and Koshinokanbai were very popular at that time.
It brings back memories.

I went to Tajiri.
There were many visitors from outside of the prefecture, probably because of the consecutive holidays. The storage area here is a highlight, so it is fun just to look at it.
The price was the same as 2023.12 aged old sake and 2024.12, so I decided to go for the old sake. I wonder if it was a little cheaper last year?
I drank the same 2023 last year, but I don't remember the taste😅.
Now to open the bottle. I thought it would be easy to open the bottle, but the stopper was too hard to open.
I wrapped many rubber bands around it and finally got it open.
It is not rough at all and goes in easily.
It would be quicker to buy it from Tajiri than to make aged sake at home, but they don't always have a lot of it, and it is a once in a lifetime thing.
There was quite a bit of Takeba's raw sake 😊.

The liquor store here likes aged old sake and stocks a variety of it in a separate cellar. This one is about a year and a half old, so I think it's still young. There were still a few bottles left so I can send you the second one 😄.
Fruity aroma reminiscent of pineapple 🍍.
Slightly sweet, then fizzy, then bitter, then cutting off 🤔After the fizzy feeling, it's slightly sweet with a clean dry aftertaste 🙄.
It's like a sparkling white wine 🍷.
It was slightly tingling at the moment of drinking, but there was a hint of sweetness, no aftertaste, and it was easy to drink.
Unlike Katsikoma, which pursued a traditional taste, this sake has the feel of a new sake of today.

After a while, I drank it again and found it to be too sweet.

When we bought Masumi Hiyadoroshi, we found a bottle of 2023.12 nama-zake in the refrigerator of a liquor store 😁We had it at the beginning of this year, and it has a characteristic acidity as it has lost some of its edge. It was matured in a cool store fridge, so it did not have a raw hiney feeling at all.
It was the first day of a consecutive holiday weekend, and before going to Nanao, I dropped by Amehara Beach. As expected, we could not see the Tateyama mountain range, but it was a beautiful autumn day 🌊.

This Junmai Daiginjo was released after the earthquake by Takazawa Shuzo, whose brewery was completely destroyed by the earthquake in Noto.
It is a sake that experienced the earthquake.
It is not as sweet as kijoshu, but it has a sweet and mild taste, and when you drink it, you will feel that this is Akebono.
I hear that they are rebuilding the brewery for next year, and I look forward to another delicious sake.
I had been wondering if the earthquake was okay since I had stopped seeing fresh sake at a nearby Yamaya. I was wondering if the earthquake was OK, but I saw it at another store and bought it immediately.
I usually drink junmai ginjo, but this one is also easy to drink with a clean aftertaste.

There is a light smell of cemedine, but it is not unpleasant.
After a while, it opens right up.
It's not as old as an aged sake, but the roughness has been removed and it's a well-balanced sake 😆.

It was produced in November 2013, so it is exactly 9 years old. I bought it 2 years ago, when the liquor store was clearing out their fridge with the Corona disaster and found it ^ ^.
I was worried it might be twisted, but it's totally fine. It's so clean, creamy, and so nice on the throat that you don't even know you're drinking alcohol. The alcohol rises after it reaches the stomach, and you feel like, "Oh, it's sake, isn't it?
My acquaintances were also pleased with the aged sake ^ ^.
