I had chosen my first brand in search of new tastes that I had not yet encountered. The pink color of the package and the word "light" made me think it would be sweet...? I bought the label. As it turned out, the taste was a little different from what I imagined. However, since everyone has different tastes in sake, you can't tell if a sake is right for you just by reading the description, so you just have to try it once! I thought again about cherishing each and every encounter.

I wanted to buy a summery sake, so I tried my first Higashitsuru. I am not a fan of light dry sake, so I bought this sake for its refreshing sweetness. When I poured it into a glass, it was pale white and the carbonation was shrieking. The aroma was not so much? But when you put it in your mouth, it had a gentle sweetness that combined with the carbonation made it very easy to drink.

Eiko-Fuji is a little different after a long absence. When poured into a glass, it has a pale pink color like a rosé wine. The aroma is gorgeous, as is typical of Eiko-Fuji, and when you put it in your mouth, it is ...... sweet! But it was not sticky and tangy sweetness! I went to buy it again to repeat, but it was already sold out. Too bad.

I bought it without a second thought because of the cute label! It's summery, has a cute sparkly label, and is also a very limited edition light nigori. I had no choice but to buy it. The theme of this sake is tropical, so it is sweet and juicy! But not too sweet, and so delicious that you can gobble it up! Good! I want to repeat again!

The post is overdue, but we will close out the year 2023 with Miyakanbai. It was nigori sake, but it was very tasty with a sweetness that was not clingy. I like the seasonal series. Miyakanbai never misses.

My first attempt at valor. I bought the label. Unlike the label's prettiness, the taste is quite sharp. But it also has a rich sweetness due to the orikara flavor. When I drank it again after some time had passed, the sweetness became stronger than the sharpness. It was delicious.

OCEAN99 Series - Limited Edition for Retailers Toumi -Arrival Arrival" concludes the trilogy of the Flight Series and the Seasonal Sake Series, following the summer-only "Inflight". I bought it because it was described as "a bottle to enjoy at the end of the day with a lingering taste of summer! I drank it lazily in an air-conditioned room on a holiday and found it to be very tasty. It has a nice aroma and a strong flavor, just the way I like it! I would like to drink it again.

This sake was recommended to me by a sake taster. I told him what I liked and he recommended a few, but I haven't been able to drink them for a long time. This time I was able to find it at a liquor store and bought it! The taste was not rich, but it had a nice aroma and mouthfeel, and I was able to drink it quickly! It was very tasty. The newest series "Jundo Ichizu" is produced by Sumikawa Sake Brewery, which has produced many popular sake brands such as "Genjiten" and "Ippo. This Jundo Ichizu is brewed with a relatively new variety called "Sake Mirai" created by Takagi Shuzo, the brewer of the famous sake "Jyushidai". It has a gentle but powerful umami with a voluminous, juicy, and extractive taste. The soft umami is well balanced with astringency and acidity, and the refreshing finish is very light and of a very high level.

I was curious to buy it because it was described as a nigori sake with a creamy, sweet and refreshing taste. Although I knew it was not a high road sake, it looked delicious and I ventured in without thinking. As a result, it was very tasty...it was not like sake, but it was sweet and easy to drink. I ended up emptying the four-pack lol. It had a strong flavor and was perfect to drink with food!

This is one of the Discovery Series of Kangiku. I went to a liquor store and they were just having a tasting event, so I tasted all four varieties! They were all delicious, but this one was my favorite. I was told by the waiter that the 50 Yamada-Nishiki was the one I was most familiar with. The waiter told me that it was the one I was most familiar with, and it was indeed the one I was most accustomed to. It was sweet but had a sharp aftertaste, and I ended up drinking it in large gulps!

This is True White 2023 by Kangiku. When I see that it is super-limited, I am always curious about it. This is a super limited Occasional series. I like rich sweet sake, but this one had a nice aroma and was very easy to drink with a moderate sweetness, though not as rich as the others!

We drank again this year. Eiko-Fuji's Hoshimatsuri. The aroma was gorgeous and it was a typical Eiko-Fuji sake. It was sweet, but the aftertaste was sharp and not too harsh, so it was easy to drink. It was delicious!

I felt summer coming on and bought it without a second thought. I remembered that I drank it last year. The aroma was sweet and robust, typical of Eiko-Fuji. It tasted like Eiko-Fuji, with a Sake degree of -2.0, but it had a rich sweetness. It is still delicious.
