The post is overdue, but we will close out the year 2023 with Miyakanbai.
It was nigori sake, but it was very tasty with a sweetness that was not clingy.
I like the seasonal series.
Miyakanbai never misses.
My first attempt at valor.
I bought the label.
Unlike the label's prettiness, the taste is quite sharp.
But it also has a rich sweetness due to the orikara flavor.
When I drank it again after some time had passed, the sweetness became stronger than the sharpness.
It was delicious.
OCEAN99 Series - Limited Edition for Retailers
Toumi -Arrival
Arrival" concludes the trilogy of the Flight Series and the Seasonal Sake Series, following the summer-only "Inflight".
I bought it because it was described as "a bottle to enjoy at the end of the day with a lingering taste of summer!
I drank it lazily in an air-conditioned room on a holiday and found it to be very tasty.
It has a nice aroma and a strong flavor, just the way I like it! I would like to drink it again.
This sake was recommended to me by a sake taster.
I told him what I liked and he recommended a few, but I haven't been able to drink them for a long time.
This time I was able to find it at a liquor store and bought it!
The taste was not rich, but it had a nice aroma and mouthfeel, and I was able to drink it quickly!
It was very tasty.
The newest series "Jundo Ichizu" is produced by Sumikawa Sake Brewery, which has produced many popular sake brands such as "Genjiten" and "Ippo.
This Jundo Ichizu is brewed with a relatively new variety called "Sake Mirai" created by Takagi Shuzo, the brewer of the famous sake "Jyushidai".
It has a gentle but powerful umami with a voluminous, juicy, and extractive taste. The soft umami is well balanced with astringency and acidity, and the refreshing finish is very light and of a very high level.
I was curious to buy it because it was described as a nigori sake with a creamy, sweet and refreshing taste.
Although I knew it was not a high road sake, it looked delicious and I ventured in without thinking.
As a result, it was very tasty...it was not like sake, but it was sweet and easy to drink.
I ended up emptying the four-pack lol.
It had a strong flavor and was perfect to drink with food!
Good evening, Mr. Issy.
I can't believe how easy it is to drink this sake 🎵.
I took a sip and exclaimed "What the heck is this?
It is a refreshing and tasty drink on a hot day. ☺️
Good evening, ma-ki-san 🌙
Thank you for your comment!
It's really dangerous to drink it so smoothly 😁.
I drank it knowing that it wouldn't be like sake, but I was still surprised 😆.
This is one of the Discovery Series of Kangiku.
I went to a liquor store and they were just having a tasting event, so I tasted all four varieties!
They were all delicious, but this one was my favorite.
I was told by the waiter that the 50 Yamada-Nishiki was the one I was most familiar with. The waiter told me that it was the one I was most familiar with, and it was indeed the one I was most accustomed to.
It was sweet but had a sharp aftertaste, and I ended up drinking it in large gulps!
This is True White 2023 by Kangiku.
When I see that it is super-limited, I am always curious about it.
This is a super limited Occasional series.
I like rich sweet sake, but this one had a nice aroma and was very easy to drink with a moderate sweetness, though not as rich as the others!
We drank again this year.
Eiko-Fuji's Hoshimatsuri.
The aroma was gorgeous and it was a typical Eiko-Fuji sake.
It was sweet, but the aftertaste was sharp and not too harsh, so it was easy to drink. It was delicious!
I felt summer coming on and bought it without a second thought.
I remembered that I drank it last year.
The aroma was sweet and robust, typical of Eiko-Fuji.
It tasted like Eiko-Fuji, with a Sake degree of -2.0, but it had a rich sweetness.
It is still delicious.
I drank some sake that I received as a gift.
Unlike the thick sweet sake I usually drink, it was quite dry and tasted like sake! It tasted like sake.
It was not sweet and easy to drink, even though it was labeled as having a Sake Degree of -10 to -8.
I was reminded once again that sake degree and perceived sweetness are not equal (simply, negative sake degree does not mean sweet).
It has been a long time since I purchased Nagatoro.
When I bought it before, I had the impression that it was thick and sweet, but has it changed a bit?
It was easy to drink, not dry.
I was taken to a nice liquor store on my way out and bought it.
I had been curious about this brand since I had been told about it before, but it was hard to find it in the store and I was finally able to buy it!
The clerk recommended it to me, and it was very easy to drink with a sweet taste. The aroma is sweet and the mouthfeel is sweet. The aftertaste was also sweet, and I was able to drink it smoothly while eating!
I drank it last time and enjoyed it so I repeated it.
It has a gorgeous aroma, rich sweetness, and sharpness that is typical of Eiko-Fuji. I want to keep it on hand.
I feel that the taste has become more rounded and delicious with the passage of time. I am also interested in Morikuma-no-Kuma-san, which is not a "orikara-mi"...
Purchased Miyakanbai again.
The last time was "Spring Time" and I felt it was a little cleaner and paler than that.
The aroma may be a little light, but it was delicious with sweetness and sharpness!
I bought it again after hearing the liquor store's recommendation.
This time, I requested it with a taste similar to Eikoufuji. So I decided on this one because it was said to be "weaker than Eiko-Fuji's gorgeous aroma, but it tastes just as rich and sweet".
The result was... delicious! It is a junmai ginjo, and it definitely had a strong sweetness. The aftertaste was quite lingering, just the way I like it!
Prayer sake for the reconstruction of Kumamoto Castle
We bought this sake expecting a rich sweet taste since it is an orikara of Eiko-Fuji.
As it turned out, it was just as good as I expected!
It has a fizzy taste, but it also has a strong dark sweetness. It also has a sharp aftertaste. The color was cloudy white because of the orikara flavor, which made me feel like I was drinking a cocktail, and I ended up drinking it in a big gulp.
I would like to repeat the experience again.
Again, the clerk gave me a sake recommendation and I bought it.
I asked, "Do you have a rich sweet sake like Eiko-Fuji?" I asked, and this sake was served.
The result of drinking it was ...... a little different? But delicious!
Right after opening the package, it was a bit fizzy and had a strong aroma. When I took a sip, it had a strong flavor, but I don't know if it was that sweet. The richness was similar.
And on the second day, the fizzy feeling was gone and it became mellower, which I preferred.
EAU NASU FARM VILLAGE Junmai Daiginjo
We tasted this sake.
It was an elegant sake with a gorgeous aroma, a gentle sweetness, and a delicious taste of rice.
It was a light, refreshing sake with a slightly dry taste. It was not my favorite sake, but it was easy to drink and light.
EAU" means water in French.
It is a delicious drink that makes you say "oh! The name "EAU" is a combination of the word "ooh" and "ooh".
All of the rice used is Yumesasara, Tochigi Prefecture's original rice suitable for sake brewing.
The sake has a low alcohol content of only 13%, which is the lowest possible alcohol content for a sake that is still a pure sake.
