My father bought it at a product store in the countryside of my mother's side of the family.
It was very easy to drink and delicious. Next time I go there, I will buy it with Kitakata Ramen and bring it back home!
I don't think it is a daiginjo as everyone says. There is not much aroma, and although I thought it was slightly melon at first sip, from the second sip, it was like a refreshing sake. I opened it without any snacks for dinner, but I think it would be better with a strongly seasoned dish.
Pigmon's Bubbly Sake
I bought this sake with my parents when I visited my mother's side of the family.
It is fermented in the bottle and is sweet and easy to drink. It has a sweetness that doesn't make you feel the 7% alcohol content.
Soft sweetness and mouthfeel that conveys the feeling of rice. I like it for its lightness, but sake lovers may say it is like water. I drank it without cooling it down too much, but I think it is suitable for hot sake.
First sake I've had in a long time.
As others have posted, it is refreshing and you don't feel the alcohol content. It is slightly sweet and delicious. I think it is the type of sake that is described as drinking like water.
Sake after a long time
Purchased at a roadside station on the way to Kusatsu. The top clearness is slightly sweet and easy to drink. Maybe because it's after a run, it goes around fast.
I was curious about the KURAND sake mess.
One of the first bottles I ordered and received.
Mellow and sweet. The aroma is not so much but melon on the palate. This one might be good on the rocks.
I brought home a bottle of sake to drink with my father on my way back to my parents' house.
I bought a bottle of Oyama, which was written to go well with grilled fish.
It was my first time to drink Tottori sake.
It was refreshing and very easy to drink.
Naturally, it went well with the Hokke.
Brown. I was told that it is best to heat it up, but I was out of fuel for my alcohol lamp, so I warmed it lukewarm with a candle warmer.
At room temperature, it had a strong sweetness and a unique sake-like aroma. Hot sake is also good to drink a little bit at a time.
It was cold today, so I had it with oden.
I heard that Kagatobi is the best sake in Kanazawa.
Since I have a lot of sake left at home, I had one cup again. It is a dry sake with a good flavor of rice. I heard that the nigori (nigori is a kind of a musty taste) is also delicious, so I would definitely like to drink it.
I usually stay in the car for a cheap trip, but this time I enjoyed myself at a market and a sushi restaurant like a tourist. It was also nice to visit Kenrokuen for the first time.
It is neither sweet nor spicy.
I think I sense bitterness in the aftertaste.
I ate rice in the evening, so I'm using ripe persimmons as a side dish, but it goes surprisingly well with it.
Sake from my hometown in Chiba Prefecture. I have never been able to buy local sake, so I went to a roadside station recently.
Ume Ichirin is a mildly sweet and smooth sake without any peculiarities.
I accompanied it with my favorite hanpen cheese.
Sweet and mild. The color is deep, but the sweetness is not as strong as the color, and it is rather refreshing.
I had some Tebasaki, a gift from Nagoya, but the sweet potato chips I opened later went better with it.
Purchased during a stay in a car in Kusatsu.
It seems to be a spring/summer only product.
At first I felt a slight bitterness, but it was clear with a hint of melon. It is light, light and easy to drink.
I feel that most of the sake in Chiba has a rather strong sake smell. This one is just right, not too sweet and not too spicy.
I often make my favorite popcorn these days, so this is my favorite drink to accompany it.
The supernatant is sweet and delicious. When mixed with nigori, it has a calpis flavor. I've been feeling a bit tired the past few days, so I made Otomo sweet with Japanese sweets.
It is sweet and tasty. But it is not too sweet, it is rather light.
The snack was a whale ham I bought in Chiba the other day. It didn't go well with this sake, but the whale ham was delicious and not too peculiar.
