I drew this sake from the 500 yen sake gacha at the Hot Atami product store in Bandai Atami.
I kind of wanted to drink it by the Masu, and it has a nice aroma of Hinoki (Japanese cypress). Sasanokawa is very refreshing! I would like to drink it with sashimi and other refreshing dishes.
I drank "Fu" from this brewery before, but I think I forgot to post it. I don't remember for sure, but I think I prefer the "Fu" brewed with 100% "Fukunoka" rice, a new rice variety developed by Fukushima Prefecture for sake brewing.
It was not chilled, so it was at room temperature for now.
It has a slight banana aroma. It's thick, but not too sweet, with a clean aftertaste.
I like it warmed on the stove, too, because the flavor of the rice stands out.
The next day, I chilled it properly.
When chilled, the sweetness spreads the moment you put it in your mouth.
I was attracted by the description of the product and bought it, but the brewed alcohol taste was quite strong and I think it was the kind that gives you a headache. It has a thick, thick mouthfeel, and it says it is recommended to drink on the rocks, but I think it's too thin and smooth on the rocks. I'm a little disappointed because it's so different that I'm not sure if I'm getting the right stuff.
But the other sake I bought before was good, and I may try it again if I have a chance.
Junmai Daiginjo, very easy to drink and delicious. I drank the Pigmon one before, but I forgot to record it. I've been thinking lately that the sake from Fukushima suits my palate quite well.
I drank it in a wine glass. As written, it has a strong aroma of banana and melon, and the melon aroma is very much present in the mouth.
Later, I tried it hot, and it was very easy to drink, with a mellowness and sweetness that increased.
Mitsuo Yamakawa 2024 Haru
Dantotsu fruity among the ones I've had so far. From the moment it was opened, it had a fresh sweet aroma, and this was like a dessert sake. The ultra-fine bubbles also make it easy to drink.
A music sake with classical music played during fermentation.
It is a bit thick and elegant, with a peachy aroma that comes from the acidity and then recedes quickly and easily.
