It is a very mellow sake. If you say it is sweet, it is sweet, but because you can feel the acidity slightly, you will not get tired of drinking it. My wife, who doesn't usually drink that much, drank a lot and got drunk unusually (lol). It's not bad to pair it with a meal, but I think it's the kind of sake you want to enjoy slowly on its own.

I live in the southern part of Hokkaido (south of Hokkaido, around Hakodate), where there is an abundance of good quality water, and in recent years rice cultivation has become quite popular. I used to think, "If there is rice and water, why are there no sake breweries? I thought, "If we have rice and water, why don't we have a sake brewery? Hakodate Jozo, the brewer of Gokpo, was born. It's still a new brewery, but the Gohou Junmai Comet has a good mouthfeel and you won't get tired of drinking it. I think it is a very high quality sake. I'm highly satisfied with it, but I'd like to try the rest of the lineup as well.

I think it is a very well balanced sake. Personally, I've never been a fan of Yamahai because of its unique acidity, but this Tengu Mai has a slightly more moderate acidity, but still has a flavor and aroma that is more than satisfying, making it a very tasty sake. Most people say that Yamahai-zukuri sake is best served warm, but I think this Tengu Mai shows its full potential even when served cold. (Of course, it can be heated as well).

For starters, it's sweet. And it is easy to drink. For those who are not used to drinking sake, it is easy to get used to. Personally, I think it's best to drink it chilled. I don't think it's suitable for drinking during a meal, so I recommend enjoying it by itself after a meal.

It has a refreshing taste, but it is firm and has a good acidity. It is reasonably priced, and can be used as a sake not only with Japanese food, but can also be enjoyed on its own. I had it cold this time, but I'd like to try it warmed next time I buy it.

It has the impression of an "old-fashioned sake". If you drink it chilled, it's robust and a little sour, but if you heat it up lukewarm, the aroma opens up and the taste becomes milder, with a nice sweetness. It's not bad chilled, but I thought this sake was better suited to being heated.

Karakuchi" and "Purasu 12" are quite refreshing to drink, but you can also feel a subtle sweetness typical of Kamikimoto. It is suitable for sipping, and both the sake and the meal will go easily.

It was brewed at "Sake Kure" in Honmachi, Hakodate. It has a very gorgeous ginjo aroma with almost no attack, so it is easy to drink. You can feel the sweetness, but it also has a moderate acidity, so you won't get tired of drinking it. Be careful not to drink too much!

When the seal is opened, a gorgeous ginjo aroma spreads. I got the impression that it is a ginjo-shu like a ginjo-shu. The mouthfeel is light, and as expected of Dewazakura, it has a sense of stability. It seems to go well with seafood meals such as sashimi and sushi, so it is an excellent sake for eating.

It has a light and refreshing taste as is typical of Niigata sake, but because it has been stored, it also has a mellow feeling. You can feel the moderately gorgeous ginjo aroma typical of Junmai Daiginjo. Rather than pairing it with food, I think it is a sake to be enjoyed on its own, not too cold.

I bought it at a liquor store in the station during a business trip to Iwate and drank it at the hotel. It is a special pure unpasteurized sake. It seems to have a strong character, but it is very gentle to drink and comes in easily. It has a good amount of acidity, but it also has a good amount of umami, so I think it's a very well balanced sake. I can't try it much because I'm on the road, but I think it would go well with teriyaki chicken. It would be interesting to try raising the temperature. (You can't heat it up in a hotel (;tsudzuki).
