Aomori's sake is hard to find locally🥺
I thought I'd have to go out of the prefecture or poke around, but my wife bought some at a department store that the clerk recommended.
It's a limited edition sake made by Momokawa, a sake brewery near Hachinohe, using "Mashigura" rice grown in Oirase town and fermented at low temperature for a long time.
When we drank it chilled, my wife and I said, "Wow, this is delicious 😆 ".
Fruity, light and elegantly sweet😍.
It's similar to the Mimuro Sugi's Grazie Airdio that we drank recently. It's easy to drink, even though it's over 17 degrees alcohol.
There are many other good sakes in Aomori 👏 besides Denshu, Hassen and Toyoupai.
