The second drink at Sugitama is a cedar ball with the name of the restaurant Fittingly, the cedar ball is a cruel octopus sausage! And the adults-only potato salad✨! The poor octopus sausage was crispy and delicious 🥰. Now, about the sake. The aroma is alcoholic. It has a beautiful mouthfeel, with a clear umami (or sweetness) and soft acidity. It's a pretty fresh feeling sake...I didn't notice any spiciness.

A bowl of rice and a good Junmai Ginjo sake. A bit expensive, but I bought it in Belgium from a Japanese store. ☑️ buy again: yes, if cheaper. 4/5

It was described as slightly dry (+2), but I felt it was really mild and matched well with a variety of vegetables.

I had it lukewarm 🍶. I had not had much sake from Aomori, so I was looking forward to it. It is easy to drink without any peculiarities. I got the impression that it is a sake that can be easily matched with any meal, Japanese or Western 😃.
