I had it lukewarm 🍶.
I had not had much sake from Aomori, so I was looking forward to it.
It is easy to drink without any peculiarities. I got the impression that it is a sake that can be easily matched with any meal, Japanese or Western 😃.
It is served warm. The aroma is not so strong.
It is rather dry. The spiciness comes in afterwards. It has a long aftertaste. This is great during a meal!
Rich but sharp sharpness
The aroma is reminiscent of the richness of brandy. The rich flavor spreads from a clean mouthfeel. The aroma has hints of ripe apples, and it finishes sharply with a simple acidity.
The transition from the rich impression in the beginning to the simplicity in the latter half is interesting. It matches the sweet and salty taste of tasake takuan (radish). It is also a good match for oden with ginger on top. There is no way that they do not go well together.
