I happened to find a Kumamoto sake tasting and sale at a supermarket in the basement of Luxe Aire 😁.
They were selling Zuitaka, Koro, Reizan, Chiyozonoen, and Kameyama, but only Zuitaka was available for tasting!
Too bad they didn't have Bishonen, Tsuijun, or Hana no Kaori.
There was a guy who looked like a brewery owner who said he came from Kumamoto, but I wonder if he was from Mizutaka 🤔.
Kissho Zuizaka Ginjo
Polishing ratio 58% Yamadanishiki/Hananishiki Sake degree +5
The label is cool. Modern type with gorgeous aroma.
I don't think there are many people who drink it...
Sake: Junmai Ginjo
Polishing ratio 58%, Sake degree +5
I've had the unfiltered raw sake in the past, but the hi-ire version is quite dry... It's been about 6 years, so I'm not sure, but I remember the raw version was a bit sweeter 🤔...
Nana Sour Sour Sake
Polishing ratio 65%, Kumamoto yeast
I was expecting the most since it is a sweet sake with a sake strength of -11, but it tasted a bit messy and was a little too subtle for me personally...
I heard they have a draft of this one, so I'd like to try it if I have the chance.
I think they sell the raw version at Keihan department store in Moriguchi 🤔.
I was most impressed with Kissho Zuitaka, so I bought this one.
I wish I could have tasted it!
I wonder if I can drink Reizan at the brewer's festival next week.
