As the label implies, it is a special junmai with a strong rice flavor with a hint of cereal grains. It should be paired with sakadori, a type of sake.
This sake is brewed by Mukai Shuzo in Tango, Kyoto.
It is said to be made from 100% Kyoto sake rice, "Kyo-no-Kiraki," and although it was served at room temperature, it had a very robust rice flavor.
It had a pleasant bitterness along with acidity, but it was not so difficult to drink and was a delicious sake.
It is somewhat similar to Hannya-yu from Wakayama.
I would like to try it with heated sake next time.
🙂
It's Kyo no Haru brewed by Mukai Shuzo, known for their Ine Mangaka!
This time I bought their nigori sake!
It's an active nigori, and my impression is that it's quite tasty and rich!
It's delicious!
Great finish, both refreshing and umami!
Sake made by Mukai Sake Brewery in Ine-cho.
It's refreshing, yet rich and mellow!
Easy to drink, but with a sake feel!
How is the label in this picture different from the regular version? I want to know!
Junmai Shiboritate Nama-nama Sake 100% Kyoto rice, Kyo-no-Teru
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Polishing ratio 68%, ALC 17
Slightly dry and sharp with a touch of acidity.
Perhaps because a little time has passed since the bottle was opened, the carbonation characteristic of nama-shu is hardly noticeable.
