I'm here today for my department's farewell party! We had a beer, 2 mega highballs, and 4 bottles of warm water, and when they were all nicely tinted, we threw in some sake 🍶. Drank chilled. Big nose of melon and cherry skin. Flavor is forward and smooth, light cantaloupe with cherry on the finish. Not so sweet, more of a melon rind. Mouthfeel is round and silky and the finish is long and alcoholic. Overall a nice drink.

Local fireworks 😁. （The sake was Junpu from Nada's Hakushika. It is made with flattened rice and is really clear and refreshing. It's like an easy-drinking Nada sake. I paired it with a lazy lentil dashimaki egg, pork liver, and sardine with ume plum salad and rakkyo kimchi. Rakkyo kimchi. It's a sake that goes well with punchy snacks and hanami sake 🎇😉.

And the cost was super reasonable for a drink outside 😳. First sake in 2 months on the sakewa app ！！！！！ 😭 I've had beer, wine and highballs in that time but I like sake 😭 I'm going to buy some for home drinking soon 🍶.
