It has a very faint amber color. It has a gorgeous peach aroma like Jungin, sweet and sour fruit, creaminess, dryness that lingers on the palate, and a bitter apricot flavor. There is a freshness on the back side.
Not fair having Akita style food with Yamagata beverage, but it worked out well. Nihonshu brought to Tokyo from Kamakura as we didn’t have over o-Shogatsu. Couldn’t see on Kura website but this was very good.
Yamagata's sake was also available at home!
