Yogurt, banana, strawberry, very fruity smell. The flavor, richness and taste are modest. There is a discreet fruity pear-like taste with no cloying taste, and the alcohol and bitterness are not assertive. There is no aftertaste. The smell is very good, and you have a sense of anticipation, so when you drink it, you may wonder what it is. It is good and refreshing! The bitterness appears when served with food. Easy to drink on its own. When the temperature rises, it smells like hot spring buns.

"Chika Sake Cup" Tasted chilled. Nose is fairly full with rose and cotton candy. Flavor is full and up front, plum and butter. Lingers for a while. Texture is clean but somewhat thick, especially in the finish. Earthy at the end. A good value drink and one that would pair well with food.

My classic mid-week drink. Hakutsuru Daiginjo never fail to impress. Its fruity palate and clean crisp finish, paired perfectly with roasted duck and fried eggs with prawns. Delicious drink!
