It is a product sold exclusively at a certain liquor store. I was curious about what people are saying about generic X now, so I bought it. Mr. Wakata used to drink it. I was scolded by a certain liquor store when I told them I bought it from them 😁. I've never had Hakutsuru Nishiki from there, so I can't compare, but it's a little fresh, pineapple-like, fruity, sweet and delicious. Serious sake from a major company is bad 😳. If a major company were to distribute sake of this quality to supermarkets and convenience stores, it would be a threat to local sake breweries.
