◎This sake is from Takehara City, Hiroshima Prefecture. We had it chilled, and as it is the restaurant's No. 1 recommendation, it was a sake with no quirks, giving the impression that it could be served with any dish.

I bought this for a quick drink while on a business trip to Hiroshima. It was smooth, watery, and had no peculiar taste at all. I guess this is the reason why Maboroshi is called "Maboroshi.

It was one of the recommended bottles at a local liquor store, so I bought it for the first time. It has a good balance of sourness and sweetness in the mouth. It is not too sweet and does not leave a bitter aftertaste, so it goes well with a meal or a light entrée. It is a delicious sake that I would like to drink on a daily basis. It is a good sake to drink with oysters, but unfortunately it was not possible due to our budget. Looking at the map of Japan, it was the first flag in Hiroshima. It makes me want to conquer Japan!

I was attracted by the squidgy label that looked dry, so I bought it. Contrary to my expectations, it was sweet. It was sweeter than I expected, and I could feel that it was Japanese sake afterwards. I had it with bonito and sweet shrimp sashimi. It took away the fishy smell of the fish. I felt the synergy of the two tastes was delicious.
