In the mouth, it has a surprisingly strong body that one would not expect from the alcohol content. There are some spreading sweetness and chocolate nuances, which may be the difference between this and Ihyakumangoku.
In conclusion, this is a food sake type that combines the clarity typical of Niigata with the fullness derived from Koshitanrei, and has a classical sense of security and a modern sense of transparency.
