Today's evening drink. The second bottle at Yokocho Heyi.
I tried Kirinzan after reading the comments on the menu. In a word, it is light and dry. My colleague chose Kuroryu. That's not a Niigata Prefecture sake!
I looked for a bar in the cold but couldn't find a good one, so here I am.
It was cold, so I asked for something hot and tasty, not fruity, and this is what I got.
It was a nice warmed sake with no sense of maturity.
It was made in 1997!

When opened, the aroma is mild.
It has a light, medium-bodied mouthfeel, but the impression is that it is a sake for a mealtime drink.
It was a pleasant sake with a long-lasting aftertaste after drinking 🍶.
Niigata Prefecture Kirinzan Potari-Potari Junmai Ginjo Nama-Nagara Sake
Kirinzan Shuzo
Alcohol content 17
Rice polishing ratio 55
100% Gohyakumangoku
Transparent, nearly colorless, faintly yellow.
First impression of the aroma is youthful.
Lemon, green apple, muscat, lime as minerality, white dumpling
First impression on the palate is light but firm.
Elegant sweetness, gentle acidity, and mild bitterness.
The balance between the freshness of new sake and the umami of rice can be felt.
Moderate aftertaste
When the bottle was first opened, it had a hard image and the bitterness was strong, but on the second day, it had a delicious rice flavor with a hint of lemon.
I want to drink it with tempura of wild vegetables!
