Tonight, our first series of impactful jackets here 💁. It's Taxi Driver🚕🚕🚕🚕. It was shipped from the brewery in April this year, but what a H30BY (R0BY) and it's a 5 year aged sake 😆. The aroma of old sake, which also smells like Shaoxing wine, is in full swing from the moment the bottle is opened 🤣. It was served cold, but it is easy to drink because of its acidity. It would be good to drink it warmed up in the fall. ☺️ I wonder if it would go well with Chinese food since it has a Shaoxing sake-like flavor, and I'm going to research how to drink it based on other sakewa reviewers 💪. But it's a very intoxicating drink so I'll stop after one cup 😓.

First drink. Weak fruity feeling that I didn't imagine from the label that has impact. But it is also full. There is a miscellaneous taste (my personal feeling) like the Yamahai brewing style with low rice polishing, but it is a moderate level, so I feel it is unique. It has just the right amount of sweetness to satisfy my preference for sweetness. I enjoyed it with a plate of delicious sashimi (´ω).

#Akasaka-mitsuke# I entered the second restaurant. This is a restaurant that was not there a few months ago. I wanted to try a drink from here at least once. Let's have it 😚. Slightly spicy? It has a little bit of a tune. I see 🤔 it tastes like this.

Looks like golden gold😊. I warmed the sake from the start. Slightly damp leaves in the mouth for a while ➡︎. Humus? ~ bran ~ almond. Deliciously sweet ‼️ The strongest, most expensive broth, it's like, with a strong milkiness on the finish 🍶. The winning formula for me is to have the saké ➡︎ in that order. When heated and cooled, it's like ⭕️⭕️ acidity in full bloom ‼️. It went perfectly with the motsu nabe (hot pot) 🤤.

Takudra Orikara 🍶. It is a draft sake, but it has been matured enough to be bottled in May, 2008. The first aroma is a faint flavor of rice. In the mouth, there is a slight acidity and a moderate sweetness from the rice. The slight carbonation gives it a sharp finish. It has no sense of maturity for being aged for 5 years, and is a refreshing and delicious ogara-mi ✨.

The non-sleeping version of a cab driver🚕🍶. A fresher version that is easy for anyone to drink ‼️ On the other hand, it's not very taxi-like 🚕💦.

Mr. Touji (president) of Kikumori was at the store where I dropped by in a daze. ‼️ Mr. Touji-san was at the store from 17:00 to 21:00. ‼️ We were lucky to hear him talk about sake in person. ✌🏻 The cab driver we drank this time was the freshest ever🚕! Usually they're aged, but this one was freshly made: ‼️ It's made with Yuko's thoughts on food rice 🌾. It was fruity and seemed to be popular with everyone. ‼️ It might be a little short for those who like their rice with a little bit of a kick, though...

1.8L, 3,410 yen, 17% alcohol by volume, 100% Iwate Kakehashi rice, 55% milling ratio, Yuko no Moui yeast, 1.7 acidity, 1.9 amino acidity, purchased at Touda Sake Shop in Towada City. I was tired of "ogorami" or "nigori" type sake because many of them were too gaseous and carbonated, but this "Taxi Driver" is easy to drink and has a good sharpness, although it is not gaseous or carbonated and the pungency of the rice is weak and the acidity is a bit strong.

It will be the new Takudra 🍶. I actually never drank it before because of the creepy front label 😂. The aroma was... hard to tell because we were sitting in front of the stove and the thick fried tofu we were grilling was starting to burn 😅. The taste in the mouth is mellow, rich and sweet like sugar or honey. I heard that the taste varies a lot depending on the lot, but this was rich, sweet and delicious.
