. . Chushingura at Okufuji Sake Brewery in Ako. We bought some draft sake at the brewery and 🦪 grilled oysters at the Denmafune across the street. On a hot summer day, the marriage of cold sake and oysters is insanely delicious. The punchy nama sake is fruity with a deep lingering aftertaste. It has quite a strong impact. The label is said to be based on a scene from "Kanadehon Chushingura. I first learned about this brewery when a relative gave it to me as a souvenir. I visited this sake brewery when I was in Ako. I was attracted by the phrase 🍶Limited edition, only available here❗️ and bought it. 😅The label with 47 black cats, which is compared to Ako Ronin, is also cute. 🐈⬛. Then, the bottle was opened. First of all, the malted rice aroma? Ginjo aroma? I bought this sake when I visited Hyogo Prefecture at the end of last year. When I opened the bottle, I could smell a strong sweet aroma of lactic acid, which made me excited. The color is a light yama-buki, and it seems to have been aged. I drank it cold first, and it tasted as good as I expected. The lactic-acid aroma and the dry taste of the aged sake come together to make a statement. Then I tried it warmed, and it was great too! The flavor and sweetness increased, and the tingling of the alcohol became a little stronger, but on the contrary, it was pleasant! I didn't know there was such a delicious sake, and I realized that there are so many different brands of sake out there that I need to keep trying new ones instead of just sticking with one.

In Harima, we savored sake from Ako Sakagoe. The town of Sakagoe had a charming atmosphere that could be designated as a jyudenken. The rice polishing ratio is 47% in honor of Ako Ronishi. It has a solid flavor and sweetness, but the taste is refreshing. It is a very high quality sake that suits my taste more than I imagined.

Chushingura Hyogo Yume Nishiki Yamahai Junmai It was sold at half price at Aeon in Himeji. The production date is November, 2008. It's hard to find this label except at AEON in Banshu area. It has a dark sweetness and a strong alcohol feeling. It has a strong Yamahai Junmai feel to it. The lukewarm heating deepens the sweetness. But it's best warmed and cooled to let the sweetness swell. It goes well with lukewarm, chilled soba noodles and cold natto.
