The rice used is Gohyakumangoku and Nihonbare. If I had to describe it in one word, I would say it's "Omnivorous Japanese Sake Partridge". It has an old-fashioned flavor and an aged feeling like a hiyaoroshi. Spicy and sweet in equal measure, with a long finish. It's a sake that should be served warm. By the way, it's "Hiyaoroshi", but it's shipped all year round.

I learned of the existence of this sake through non non's post. It was a little difficult to go there because you can only buy it at the direct sales place which is open only on weekdays.... It was a nice homey sake brewery 😊. It was limited to 100 bottles and they were the last 3 bottles. It's shwashy, sweet and sour. It may be a daiginjo, but it doesn't taste like yamahai and is easy to drink.

Kiyotsuru says they sell Hiyayogoshi all year round (ω-ω-ω). It is very good, but it seems to be sold only around Takatsuki area! I was advised that it tastes better when it's warmed up, so I took my time and drank it. I wonder if this kind of event should be chilled to keep the quality. Mizunasu pickles also went very well with it! And when Yumeshoka played from the DJ booth, the Osaka-ness of the event was in full bloom! Drinking while thinking of Mr. Hiroshi Yen, the iconic figure of Tenjinbashisuji Shopping Arcade, added to the atmosphere! I tried to buy some on my way home, but they were sold out! I knew it must be very popular!

Shinjou-san, Kiyotsuru's hiyaoroshi is delicious 😋. I haven't had Kiyotsuru's sake recently 😅I haven't had it in a while. Arabashiri is also delicious. I also eat sakekasu (sake lees) every year after baking it 🤗.

Thank you very much. I haven't experienced baked sakekasu yet. I was going to buy some when I went to the brewery, but it was a new cologne, so I'll buy some when I go to Kiyotsuru and give it a try! Hiyayogoshi was very popular there too!

This brewery is located at the end of a narrow road in a residential area in Settsutonda. They are planning to release a limited-quantity sake next week, in which the master brewer tried his hand at foaming. At this time of year when new sake is about to be released, it is difficult to visit breweries in distant areas. I don't think it's a waste of time to visit only Tomita. Not at all. I never thought we would beat Spain 😲. I was surprised when I woke up ⚽ I wonder if I brought good fortune with the Senbuku I drank yesterday? And the label was samurai blue too 😁. I think it's been 3 years since I drank it. Blue and fresh flavor. A little strong cemedine. It also has a melon-like taste. When I drank it before, I think it was a bit sweeter and had a fresh ripe taste, but I guess it depends on the time of year since they ship all year round. Anyway, it has a strong cemedine taste.

It has been a long time since I have had local sake. It is very easy to drink and delicious, with a mild dry taste and a refreshing aftertaste. The name "Junmai Daiginjo Tenyu Shusei Chiyu Shusen" was apparently taken from the "sake flag star" that lines the west side of the constellation Leo, and from a Chinese legend related to sake. This time, it was a limited-edition, direct-drafted, unblended sake. According to what my husband was told by the store staff, it was made in April and directly pumped.

＜Umigugugun Junmai Classic Whoa! The aroma reveals that this is a classic type with a lot of flavor. The lactic acidity, the sweet flavor of the rice, and the alcohol are all conveyed in a bold way. Delicious! When you put it in your mouth, you will be surprised to see the acidity and sweetness without any fruity notes. Then, umami bitterness is added, and it goes even faster! And then, the alcohol goes boom! Yum! It is very powerful. As expected, there is quite a bit of umami on top. The alcohol content is 15 degrees, but my sense is that it is about 16 to 17 degrees. This concentration of flavor is very Junmai-shu. Because of the firm umami bitterness and strong alcohol taste, I honestly do not recommend this sake for beginners. But if you can enjoy this taste, you are a fine adult. (also called an old man). If I were to use a Ghibli analogy, I would compare it to the engineer of the light railway in "Castle in the Sky". He is the one who helps Sita and Pazoo escape from pirates and the army. He is a spirited old man who does not flinch from either the pirates or the military. It was produced in a limited run of 90 bottles by the Kiyotsuru Sake Brewery. It has little aroma, and although it is Yamahai, it is not habit-forming. To me, it seems a bit half-hearted and unreliable, but I guess it is an easy-drinking sake.
