◎This sake is from Saku City, Nagano Prefecture. Although it is labeled as "super dry," I felt that even sake beginners could enjoy this sake with its friendly flavor. It seems to go well with sashimi, and although it was my first time drinking it, I would recommend it.
On April 19, 2015, the "Miyabi" category, which is suited to wine glasses, won the Grand Prix in the 2nd Kyoto Matsuo Taisha Sake-1 Grand Prix, and also won first place (most votes) in the overall category, winning the Grand Prix in the overall category as well!
Sawanohana [Beau Michelle
Magnum bottle (1500ml)
(Saku City, Nagano Prefecture, Japan)
1500ml 3465 yen (tax included)
This wine has been gaining popularity over the past few years,
It is a low-alcohol (9%) sweet and sour sake with a very elegant taste.
It goes well with Western food.
Please drink it cold.
Is it Junmai Daiginjo? I thought it was, but the mouthfeel is very smooth and umami!
Not too sweet, not too spicy, well balanced but not too characteristic.
I have had Beau Michelle several times, but this Sawanohana is new to me.
From the melon-like aroma, the first sip reveals an elegant sweetness. The wine is not heavy, but cuts through the palate rather smoothly.
It is delicious without any peculiarities!
