It has a sweet aroma reminiscent of young strawberries and koji malt.
It has a gaseous feeling when you take a sip.
It has a slightly chemical fresh flavor.
It is juicy rather than milky.
The sweet flavor is surprisingly lighter than the aroma,
The sharpness is refreshing.
Taste: 3/5 stars.
Ori Hunter 6️⃣th bottle
Today we opened a bottle of Hatsu Shibori Nama Sake Nigori by Jinya, another brand of Ikki Zouma, which we enjoyed twice last season 😀.
Aruga Brewery demolished the old brewery and rebuilt it into a new brewery, and this is the first new sake from the new brewery 😀.
I was a bit careless when I got the first bottle of Nama Nigori because I could open the bottle without difficulty, but as soon as I opened the cap and started to pour, the automatic stirring started and I almost blew out the bottle 🤣.
I was a little disappointed that I couldn't get the top clear liquid, but the gorgeous aroma was impressive😇.
The fresh fruity flavor from the bubbly fresh sake taste was just the way I like it 😀.
The impression is that it has something in common with my favorite nigori sake Hirotogawa, which is made from the same sake rice, Yume no Kaori, and is one of the top nigori sakes I've had😇.
I heard that Aruga Brewery also has a Junmai Ginjo Usugorigo (light nigori) called Seijiki Sama that is also made from the same Yume no Kaori sake rice 😇
Good evening, Yasubeyesan!
I was very curious about this Jinya 😆 I've had the Nigori-Sama's Nigori before and it was delicious, and this one looks really good too 🤤I'd love to make love to you if I can find you ♬.
Good morning, Yasubeyesan 🌞I was a little curious about the nigori by Jinya 🤤I took Hirotogawa due to space problem but it looks delicious 🤤I will pick it up if it is still left 🥰.
Good evening, Kotaro!
If you like the Nigori from Ikki Soma, I am sure this Jinya is the right sake for you 😇.
It seems that there are not many stores in Kansai that carry it, so it may be hard to find one 😓.
Hi Nao888 😀
I see you've already successfully brought Hirotogawa-san with you 😀.
I'm so jealous 🤣
I missed the first shipment, so I'll have to work on it from now on😅.
If you still have some, we can compare with Hirotogawa-san 😇.
A local sake from Shirakawa. With a soft sweetness and light aftertaste, it is a good sake that can be served with a wide range of accompaniments. The name "Jinya" comes from an enclave of the Echigo Takata clan, where a camp was established to govern the area.
A special junmai sake with an austere label. The brewer told me it was sweet, but the aroma on the nose has a flavor that feels dry and satisfying after drinking. Personally, I thought it would go well with autumn and winter.
This is the second glass from yesterday's "MIDETTE" autumn sake drinking set.
Jinya Junmai Aki-agari
A bottle made with Fukushima Prefecture's Yumen no Kou (Sake degree +3, Acidity 1.4, Alcohol 15%).
(Sake degree +3, Acidity 1.4, Alcohol 15%)
Tasting notes
The aroma is subdued, with a slight sense of maturity.
The mouthfeel is slightly tangy and dry.
The middle is more on the acidic side.
The aftertaste is dry and crisp.
It is easy to drink like water.
It was a perfect match with the "pickled garlic with bracken".
A good balance of drinkability and food wine power.
Be careful not to drink too much!
