Slightly cool and refreshing mouthfeel.
A soft sweetness of rice swells up on the tongue.
No peculiarities and cleanness that goes down smoothly.
It is a perfect match for duck soba or other dishes.
Nama Shiboritate (3.17, Kanzaki-cho, Chiba Prefecture, Niiyu Festival Limited Edition Sake)
The first festival in 5 years (apparently), 2 sake breweries and the whole town together. There is even a special train 😅.
For more details about the festival, please refer to the web.
And this sake. It's a little bit carbonated? It has a refreshing and moderate sweetness with a slight acidity. It has a lingering aftertaste. It is suitable for both sake fans and those who do not like sake.
Koshi Tachiharu Hatsu Shibori from nearby Shisui might be close to this. I guess 2,000 yen for such a good sake is a bargain. I'll have to go back next year. However, I strongly recommend taking the train that arrives at Shimofusa-Kanzaki around 9:00 a.m., as it will be very crowded!
It has a fruity yet full-bodied rice flavor.
The new sake rice from Akita, "Momota", is used. It has a solid sense of volume.
It is a good match for rich albacore, etc.
This is a draft sake that I purchased at the Nabe Branch Narita Exhibition.
I was scared to open the bottle thinking it might be fizzing, but it was totally fine. It wasn't fizzy at all.
Why did I think it was fizzy?
Well, the taste is sweet and refreshing. The taste is what Hime likes. I prefer a little more sharpness, but this is delicious.
We participated in the Kanzaki Fermentation Festival for the first time!
This is a limited edition brewery festival sake that was sold at the pot store!
Refreshing and delicious!
Thank you all for your hard work.
Are you resting well?
Niiyuu, it's delicious!
The aroma is refreshing.
And delicious!
Sunday night with Buri Shiyabu
I'll keep working hard tomorrow 💪.
There is leesiness, and the sweetness of the unrefined sake is felt at the end of the bitterness.
A fruity aroma can also be detected, making one think that it is here to announce spring!
Purchased at Aeon Liquor. It also tastes quite good...! Chiba's sake is amazing. I can't wait to start planning a tour to visit breweries in Chiba Prefecture...!
The restaurant I had just been at only accepted cash, and I was restless because I had so little money on me, so I went back to the ryokan.
I wanted to drink some more, so I had some Niiyu-chan, a locally brewed sake. I knew it would be delicious.
Local sake and sushi on a business trip to Tateyama.
I thought it would taste classical, but it was so fruity and delicious that I drank three cups. Everything tastes better with sushi in Tateyama.
