Junmai Ginjo-Sanbai Sake from Kawakame, a brewery in Yawatahama, Ehime. It has an aroma typical of Yamahai, yet it is refreshing to drink. It is dry. But it is not without a fruity flavor. In short, it is delicious! The world of sake is deep.
The last check-in of the day was a barrel sake from Kawakame.
It was served at room temperature and had a nice aroma of the barrels and the sake was easy to drink without any peculiarities.
The fourth drink is Kawagame.
I asked for this sake to be served lukewarm,
as it was brought from the previous restaurant "Meidi-ya".
No photo 🥲.
I don't even know the specs. Rich flavor and maturity,
I wonder if they use Yamadanishiki. Maybe hiyaoroshi.
The aroma of wooden barrels spread and it was delicious.
Kawakame Yamahai Junmai Ginjo Kawakame Shuzo
Yamadanishiki 50% polished rice
First time to drink Kawakame, with a sake degree of +1.
The taste is heavy and heavy, and the aftertaste is round with a hint of alcohol.
It is also tasty, but I guess it is a little different to my taste...
I thought I like sweet sake.
