I was back in my hometown Chiba yesterday and today chaperoning my daughter's guessing game 😅.
I went to buy sake separately... 🤭 lol
Well, I'm going to open the sake I bought on my way out tonight 🤣.
It's a hiyaoroshi and was made in August, so it must have been unsold at the store ❓... Gunma's Mizubasho🌼.
This is the first time to open the bottle 😆.
The aroma is neither strong nor weak with a fruity apple 🍎 flavor.
I'll take a sip from 😋.
It tastes like apple juice 🧃, but with a nice flavor ✨.
Hiyayoroshi sake often has a matured feel to it, so it's hard to tell if you like it or not 😥.
On the other hand, this sake tasted easy to drink without any aged feeling or strange peculiarities 😊.
Toyo Bijin is similar, but it has a more clean taste... I think this one has more roundness or umami. 🙂↕️

It looks like a collaboration with Hasegawa Sake Shop.
The aroma is gentle banana type.
The mouthfeel is tangy and spicy.
The middle taste is umami and sweetness of rice.
The aftertaste is refreshing with a spicy bitterness.
It was a delicious sake! It went well with a salty meal (soaked spinach).
The label doesn't go into detail, so the following is from the Internet.
Brewed with 60% Yamadanishiki from Bessho, Miki City, Hyogo Prefecture as the malted rice and 60% Yukihotaka from Kawaba Village, Gunma Prefecture as the premium rice.

Haste
This is my first brand. Yamada-Nishiki 50% polished rice. The taste was mild and mellow. It is a refined sake with no unpleasant taste.
