On 12/3, I went to an event in Fushimi called "Shin Sake Brewery Opening". We tasted some freshly squeezed new sake, etc., and then went to the nearby Sacred Sake Brewery for more tasting.
It was a fun day.
This one is for home.
It has a wonderful rich sweet and umami flavor.
I loved the taste.
Sake party with friends, third bottle
Sake on the left side from the sake my friend prepared
Ginjo-shu on the left
A little spicy, it was a good food sake at room temperature.
It was a good sake for a meal.
I would have liked to try it cold.
We went to the Fushimi Meishu Cooperative (Yamamoto Honke Toyosawa Honten Heiwa Sake Brewery Partnership) Shin Sake Brewery Opening!
First of all, we tasted two kinds of new sake!
Hatsuei Junmai Namaeshu.
A refreshing taste.
Sacred Shiboritate Tarekuchi
Chilli, fresh and sweet.
It has a rich flavor.
Next, tasting of each brewery
Sacred Daiginjo
Aromatic and delicious, it is also good during a meal.
Keicho Junmai Ginjo
Tastes good with meals
Toyoshu Special Junmai
Delicious and smooth!
And last but not least, it's expensive!
Matsu no Midori Tokusen Junmai Daiginjo
Aromatic, delicious, and clean tasting sake for 5500 yen!
Delicious without question ✨
Aside from the Matsunosui, the Sacred Shiboritate Junmai Sake was my favorite: ❣️
We drank the sake while drinking the famous water called Shirakikusui!
The water had a gentle sweetness and a light taste.
The snack was sweet and spicy "Kyo surume" made in Fushimi!
It is a handsome and tasty appetizer!
Other local specialties such as Kyoto vegetables and pickles were also on sale 🎶.
Good evening, Pon-chan 😃.
We haven't been to many sake breweries 😅but seeing you and the rest of you in Kansai, it looks like a lot of fun 😊and delicious 😋.
I'll have to plan to visit one in Tochigi too 🤗
Hi, Pon 😀
I like your Fushimi brewery tour 😀.
I went to the Fushimi brewery tour 3 times, but I couldn't make it to this brewery opening 😅.
I heard there is a Fushimi sake festival in March, will you go ❓😀😀.
Hi, Pon-chan ^^^^.
I'm glad you had a good time. I would like to visit a sake brewery myself, but most of the events are held on Sundays, and as someone who cannot take weekends off, I don't have much luck;
Hi Kozou, ☁️
I've only been to this one in Fushimi, Kyoto 😁There are a lot of tourists here, so pickles, etc. sold out in the morning 😳I was going to buy sakekasu here, but it was sold out in the morning 😳That's a tourist attraction💦.
Hi Jay & Nobby, ☁️
It's nice to be able to drink a variety of sake at a sake brewery opening, where you can find rare ones such as locally distributed ones, or you can try them at a reasonable price! It's also fun to see everyone in a good mood under the blue sky 😆.
Hi Yasbay, ☁️
I went to the March brewery openings a few times before Corona😊those are big and worth visiting! I plan to go next year if my schedule allows 👣I hope I can meet up with some of the Sake no Wa folks 🙄.
Hello, freelancer man of the first generation: ☁️
I know that the event is held on weekends and holidays 😢, but many breweries only offer tours and tastings on weekdays 😊👍I suggest you search for your favorite brand of sake brewery and go there.
Personal note

Taste: ★★★☆☆☆] There is an aroma of rice with a strong alcoholic smell. In the mouth, the pungent taste of alcohol spreads, and although it has the umami of rice, the pungent taste is still strong and hidden. The aroma has a strong alcohol smell.
The throat is coarse.
Change over time: [★★★★☆] No change.
Comment] The pungent spiciness of the high alcohol content is quite assertive, and it comes down the throat quite a bit. It is not the sake I would like to have as a mealtime drink, as the pungent taste interferes with my taste buds. It is not the sake I would like to drink with meals, but it is suitable for those who like dry sake with a lot of gusto.
Overall Rating
Outside drinking 🎶 Sennyuji Pottery Autumn Leaves Festival🍁.
The second bottle is Kyoto's Sacred
It tastes dry and crisp!
I can't help but drink the tarekuchi of kyoto hinsei at every izakaya in kyoto from now on 🤭.
I prefer the tarekuchi 😁.
Good morning, Ao 😃.
Autumn leaves 🍁 and sake 🍶...it's very Kyoto 😊Is sacred sake available in any izakaya 😳⁉️ I've never had it 🙄The sake cup is very tasteful 👍‼️
Rafa papa-san Good evening 😁The pubs I go to have a lot of mouths! They are originally a store that deals in sacred sake.
The festival was nice, but the staff who sold sake didn't know much about sake.
Torisei, I didn't know they have a branch at Kyoto Racecourse.
The sake from the warehouse is served with yakitori.
The sake is fresh and full of flavor.
Yamamoto Honke had a store at Sendai Mitsukoshi in conjunction with the Kyoto Exhibition.
I look forward to Yamamoto Honke's "tarekuchi" every year at this time of the year, but it seems to take about one more week before it is shipped, so I did not get it this year either.
The aroma is a fresh ginjo aroma.
The mouthfeel is fruity, fresh, sweet, and juicy, with a light acidity and bitterness from the aftertaste of alcohol.
It has a high quality, classical, and sharp taste, and is very satisfying to drink.
Thank you very much!
