This is a sake I bought the other day at Yamamoto Honke in Fushimi, Kyoto, where I visited the brewery on foot 😀.
Junmai Daiginjo, a limited edition sake brewery.
For some reason, when I visit a brewery, I'm always attracted to the words "limited edition" 🤣.
Since I was there, I decided to compare the sake at room temperature and chilled for the tasting 😇
The tasting sake at room temperature has a very fine ginjo aroma 😀.
The aroma of the rice was very strong 😇.
The crisp and fruity mouthfeel of the chilled sake is good, but the rounded mouthfeel of the tasting sake that was brought to room temperature is also good 😀.
It is rare to find a sake that tastes so good both chilled and at room temperature, but I really enjoyed it 😇
Hi Yasbay 😃
If you go to the brewery, you can't help but buy the "brewer's limited edition" 😅I'd put it back to room temperature before drinking and compare the different temperatures! Sounds interesting 🤔I'll try to copy it next time🤗.
Hi Jay & Nobby 😀
Maybe the main purpose of going to the brewery is to buy the limited edition sake 🤣.
This way of drinking is actually a preparation for the sake tasting exam for the sake diploma 😅.
The sake for the exam comes out at room temperature, so it's a countermeasure for that 😅.
Hi Yasbaye 🐦.
Sake brewery limited 😻The first thing that jumps out at me too is the limited edition sake 😆 Many of them are deliciously made 😁.
I guess the basic principle of tasting it is at room temperature?
Hi Pon-chan 😀
I guess everyone reacts to the keyword "limited edition" 🤣.
I don't think room temperature is the basic temperature, but when they test sake tasting, they have to serve it at the same temperature all over the country 🤣.
Tour of shrines, temples, and sake breweries on foot
Today I came to Yamashina in Kyoto by JR in the morning.
From there, we visited Oishi Shrine and Oishi Temple and moved on to Fushimi 🚶♂️
We even made a visit to Mikamiya Shrine, which is famous for its Mikosui, the perfume often mentioned in sake exams, and then went to a sake brewery in Fushimi😇.
Today we visited the sacred Yamamoto Honke, which we had not visited yet 😀.
We tasted a junmai ginjo brewed on white malted rice with Kyoto's sake rice, celebratory rice, which is exclusive to the brewery, and another one 😀.
Both were delicious, but I bought the other one to take home 🤣.
But this one was also a delicious fruity sake with a sweetness that matched the white malted rice and Celebration and was not cloyingly sweet😇.
Hello, Yasube-san. I see you walked from Yamashina to Fushimi in the heat of the day 😳I am amazed at your good legs, visiting Mikamiya Shrine and then going to the sacred shrine. I'm looking forward to the sake you brought back with you 😊.
Yasubeyesan, also here 😊.
I'm exhausted just walking in the really hot weather, but that distance is amazing 😳‼️I feel the love for temples, shrines & sake breweries❣️I'm a sucker for the word "limited edition", but the rarity of white yeast rice for the celebration is a true ✨!
Hi, Hirupeko 😀
I decided to take the course from Yamashina to Fushimi because I thought the temperature would still be better in Kyoto, but it was still hot 😀.
But I can't stop walking and drinking sake because it's my daily routine 🤣.

a gift from a friend of mine
Really mellow ❗️ apple juice🍎.
Very silky with a hint of alcohol stimulation ^ ^.
smooth ^ ^ ^
I think this would actually go well as a food sake 😆.
With elegant Kyoto cuisine (o^^o)
It's awesome ❗️
My sister and I got this sake during lunch in Kyoto.
When I sipped it, I felt it was aged, but the soft sweetness was delicious.
It went well with my favorite fu dengaku (not pictured).
Light and dry.
It is easy to drink.
It was delicious with yakitori.
I tried to buy a bottle at the next liquor store, but they were out of stock. I guess this kind of thing happens. It was a pity because Tori Sei carries it...
