New Year's party with my parents today
We were supposed to have a year-end party, but I caught the flu, so it was switched to a New Year's party.
My father has been on a strict diet since last year, but today was his customary rude party, so he drank a lot of beer, shochu, and whisky at the second bar, and was very drunk at the end.
My mother talked and drank a lot and enjoyed herself very much.
The party lasted over 6 hours!
The only drink we had at the New Year's party was this one, which we had at the first restaurant!
It's been a while since I've had this sake!
Yamamoto Honke's Junmai Daiginjo
Let's have it right away!
First, the aroma. It has a sweet, fruity aroma.
In the mouth, there is a fruity sweetness and a slight bitterness.
Since the sweetness comes first, the bitterness does not leave much of an impression.
It has been a long time since I have tasted this, but the sweetness is bliss!
I didn't take notes, so this is a review from memory, but it was a delicious fruity-sweet sake!
After that, my father and I had shochu, and the second time we had whisky, and it was an enjoyable drinking time!
After returning home, I took a bath and felt refreshed. I'm going to drink sake at home now because I didn't drink enough!

A cup every once in a while, this time a cup left behind by my father. I used to buy it when I saw it at the Shinkansen kiosk. The aroma is sweet with a hint of zing. The mouthfeel is that of Fushimi's female sake. The water is crystal clear and the taste is sweet and almost ripe. It tastes sweet, like a ripe fruit, like a prune. The sharpness is a little weak. However, I think it is enough for a cup of sake. Thank you again for the sake tonight.

I think there were more than 20 different kinds of sake on the menu, but most of them were major ones, and there was only one more sake that I had never had before
On the menu, it says "for warming sake".
Sacred
The seat we sat on was a little cold, so I ordered some yuba and yudofu or something (not pictured) and some heated sake!
It's like the heated sake (my own image) 🍶.
This is also good for the coming season 🥰.

Sake Tasting Set
1) Junmai Daiginjo "Matsu no Midori
Light, aromatic and sharp.
Goes well with yakitori.
2) Honjozo "Tessai
It is said to have a taste that pursues sharpness and richness.
It is a little astringent. I don't know yet.
Seems to go well with sake lees soup.
3) Daiginjo "Sacred
Seems to have a mild taste and daiginjo aroma.
It goes well with Kyoto pickles.
710 yen is a bargain after tasting all this!
