At home. I bought this as a souvenir when I enjoyed lunchtime drinking at Changlong Brewpark and had it at home. I guess it is a slightly different version of the one I had at lunch. The aroma may be influenced by the name of bamboo ⁉️.... Unlike the lunchtime drink, it was fresh, sweet, sour, and refreshing. The fact that I was able to bring back a good one as a souvenir made my day more enjoyable and memorable... ‼️ The fourth picture is of Kaguya-chan, the mascot of Hiroryo Town.

At Changlong Brewpark. The second drink was Shikisaki. We were told that it is recommended as a food sake, so we had it with our bento. It is a dry sake with a strong umami flavor that can be savored slowly. It has a completely different taste from the Sakurabito we had earlier, and is good for variety. ‼️ We got tipsy and bought some souvenirs for our holiday.

Dry with a hint of flavor. Almost room temperature at the beginning of the drink. No sweetness whatsoever! But it's not hard to drink. I don't know if this is a good analogy, but I drink it as a very light shochu. It's meant to be a sipping drink, but it goes into your body quickly! The second day starts with a cold sake. On the back of the label, it says it's a little dry. Perhaps because it is an unpasteurized sake, it doesn't have a strong alcoholic flavor, but it does have a bitter aftertaste and a tongue-tickling sensation. It may not be suitable for those who don't like the dry taste.

4/5 Nice light-bodied taru. Faint sweetness, with a gentle perfumed bitterness. Honeydew, raw almond, juniper, cedar, stone. The woodsy herbal notes are really nice. There’s the faintest fruitiness, but mainly just a neutral honied sweetness. Bitterness on the finish balances well. Reminds me a little of gin, especially with the junipery note. I like it, but could be a little more smooth. Good with food.

Room temp Well integrated cedar flavors with a bit of roughness on the tongue that enhances that “woody” vibe. Overripe green apple initially gives way to nutmeg astringency. 75/100 Warmed Really makes the apple flavors come forward with almost a cinnamon overlay, like a Christmas warm drink. The cedar retreats to the background but is there… 80/100

My wife happened to find this liquor store. She liked the look of the store so much that she stopped by and bought some 🍶. I didn't know this brand, but this was a great sake 🤔. A little dry on the palate, sweet rice flavor in the second half, absurdly delicious both hiya and heated 😋. I guess there are only great sake from Nara 🤔. I heard that the liquor store we bought it from is open from 5pm, so I'll ask my wife to take me there next time 😁.

I've been posting for a long time because of the shocking taste. I tried it because I like Omachi, but it's only from Yoshino cedar barrels. The aroma of cedar is amazing! The aroma is very Omachi-like, but the rest of the aroma after drinking it is of cedar wood! The aroma is like Omachi, but after drinking it, the lingering aroma is of cedar wood! It reminded me of a home improvement store. It also has a spicy flavor, so it might be a gin. Sake is a surprise and a delight!

The acidity is a bit strong, which is rare for Omachi. It has a deep flavor, but the acidity gives it a refreshing finish. Good as a food sake. Delicious, highly recommended.

It has a sour aroma, but when you drink it, the clean and sweet taste spreads instantly and is very tasty! The aftertaste leaves crisply, so it goes well with any dish. Personally, I would like it to have a bit more of a lingering aftertaste, but it would be nice to drink it while thinking about the soft sweetness of the rice!

Report 2📝 of the August 2nd meeting of the SAKEWA Kansai Chapter I drank the first cup right away, so I decided to have a second cup of Kai. As the label says, it flows smoothly with a melon aroma and a bit of sweetness 🍈. It was too light and I drank this one right away too, but we called it a night here. As bouken-san, Rafa papa, and I were riding the subway to take Jive back to his hotel in Nihonbashi, Rafa's 00 reached its limit before we reached Nihonbashi, and he got off the train 💦. After saying goodbye to Gyve, I felt I was missing something, so I went to a few places to have another drink with bou, but they were already closed 💧. As a result, we went straight home🚈. It was such a fun day that the Hankai Train Off-line meeting came up again in my dream that day✨.

Nagataki Sake Brewery is located in Hiroyo-machi, Nara Prefecture. Recently, the brewery has also been producing local beer, which is freshly brewed and available at the Nagataki Brew Park next to the brewery. This hiyaoroshi has a mellow, but not too rich, flavor, and is a bit dry at the end.

Report on the August 2nd meeting of the SAKEWA Kansai Chapter 1📝. While wandering around Kew's Mall and other places, we decided to go to an izakaya (Japanese-style pub) run by Choryu, which Nemuchi-san found. There were 7 members: Rafa papa, kan, Nemuchi, Jive, bouken, Ofuji, and myself. On the way to the restaurant, Rafa said he had to go to the restroom and did not come back, so I decided to leave my luggage and go look for him 🚨. After about 30 minutes of searching, we finally met up✨. I heard that he had gone to the east ticket gate 🌀 But this sobered me up and reset me👍. The first sake we drank was Choryu's summer-only nama-zake. I've seen this label before, but this was my first time drinking it 🍶. It had a fruity aroma and sweetness, but it flowed so smoothly that I was thirsty and quickly ran out 💦💦. Everyone was already on their third glass 💧.
