It goes well with fish and seafood... I'm having it with bonito sashimi, bonito tataki, boiled skin, and today, sashimi of mehikari that I got during my expedition to Iwaki, Fukushima... For the first time in several years, I bought a bottle of Sagaminada from my hometown. I was afraid to drink it! Hmmm..! It's delicious! My wife was surprised at how good it tasted! When I first started drinking sake, I bought another brand, but I was not used to the taste, and it was not to my liking. Recently, I had a sudden urge to try the sake here, so I decided to go to the restaurant, which is close to my house. People were coming one after another because it is a popular restaurant. It was delicious both before and during the meal! I'm sure I'll be a repeat customer. It has a full flavor of rice without alcohol and a fruity aroma for a moment. Oh, no, it's delicious!

This is also at a nearby bar. This is the second in the Omachi series. It is more smooth than the previous one, and the sweetness seems to increase as you drink it. It's delicious.

I went to visit the Sagaminada Sake Brewery. It was a 30-minute bus ride from Hashimoto Station, and the brewery was tucked away in the mountains beyond the Shiroyama Dam. The brewery was a quaint one that looked like it had been there since the Edo period. Since it was a weekday, we were the only visitors, and we were given a slow and detailed explanation of the brewery. The brewery is family-run and produces a small amount of sake, so they seem to be particular about bottling and storage. We were allowed to taste 11 different kinds of wine for the tour fee only. Yamadanishiki, Omachi rice, Miyamanishiki, and various other rice varieties were available. All of them were refreshing and easy to drink. They were not gorgeous with aroma, but they seemed to go well with any dishes.

I went to Ohbuchi Sake Shop in Nishi-Hashimoto I got it from Ohbuchi Sake Brewery in Nishi-Hashimoto. I'm so happy to drink Sagaminada's dry sake without filtration! I'm so happy to be able to drink it unfiltered and unpasteurized. ☺️ Well... let's start with the supernatant first... Mmmm... delicious... It's very dry, but not too dry... but not too spicy, with a tingling and slightly fizzy sensation. Very tasty sake 🍶👍

Opened on April 2, 2024 Purchased after tasting at the brewery. There is a tang of alcohol, but it is immediately soft and juicy, with a sweet citrusy acidity🍊. The taste is strong, but it has a sharpness that quickly falls to the back of the tongue. ❗️ It goes really well with sweet simmered dishes 👍 Good ❗️

A dry type of Sagaminada that comes out every year at this time. It is lightly cloudy with no bubbles. It has a fresh, refreshing Miyamanishiki taste, a moderate sweetness, and a crisp, dry finish. This year, too, it is well-balanced.

My favorite Sagaminada 😍. Especially Omachi, which is brewed by Kubota Sake Brewery Kubota Sake Brewery brewed it for me a few years ago 🍶 and I get it every year. I get it every year and it is the best sake 🍶. This year it turned out great again👍
