Sagaminada's special junmai unfiltered unpasteurized sake made with Miyamanishiki. It has a gentle fruity aroma of muscat or white grapes. The taste is also very delicious, combining grape-like acidity with the umami of rice that is typical of Japanese sake. Sagaminada is often served at events these days, and it has been a long time since I have purchased it. And a bottle is rather drastic, isn't it? I knew the brand name Sagaminada, but I thought it was a brewery located in the Sagami Bay area.
I bought this sake at a liquor store in Sagamihara City.
There were three different types of sake made with Miyamanishiki, Omachi, and Yamadanishiki rice, but I decided to go with Miyamanishiki this time.
The flavor of the rice is more pronounced than I had imagined.
Is it because it is Miyamanishiki that it is fruity?
It is refreshing, though.
