I bought this sake on a trip to Miyagi Prefecture, recommended by the staff at Saichi, a store famous for its o-hagi (rice cakes).
It is a limited edition sake that is pressed once a year at the time of Risshun.
It was a gem that allowed me to fully enjoy the flavor and sweetness of the rice.
Hi Nocchi-san, sorry for the comment 🙇 Good morning 😊I see you're in Miyagi.
Hi there 😊I see you came to Miyagi. I'm sure you'll have a great time in Akiu Onsen by any chance? That would be great 😆.

It is a good-luck item that is pressed at midnight and shipped after a purification ceremony (≧▽≦)!
It tastes so good that it is hard to believe that it is a good luck charm.
Thank you very much for your kindness.

Yamada Nishiki
Polishing ratio: 35
Shouko" is the Japanese word for "Shoko". According to the description on the package, it is a coined word.
It is said that the Yamada-Nishiki rice was polished to 35% over 100 hours.
The aroma is a ginjo aroma with hints of peach and pear.
The mouthfeel is smoother than water, with a gentle sweetness at first and a sour aftertaste.
No bitterness. This is very tasty.
When paired with tomatoes and other sour foods, the acidity in the aftertaste is softened and the sweetness in the mouth is accentuated. Highly recommended as a pairing.
