First Fukuoka sake on my new account.
It is Ikegame from Kurume 🐢.
The label is a cute goldfish: ❤️
This is my first time drinking Ikegame, and while it is a junmai sake, it also has a bit of ginjo aroma, which gives it a nice cosiness 😙.
It has a refreshing and crisp summery taste, with just the right amount of sweetness and umami that won't interfere with your meal 😋.
It went well with meat, fish, and vegetables👍.

Ikegame is a local sake often seen in Fukuoka.
Outside of the prefecture, you may not see it so often.
The label with a goldfish, which is reminiscent of summer sake, is cute and makes you feel cool.
Serve it cold.
It has a fresh aroma like cucumber. Some people may have different tastes.
In the mouth, it has a crisp taste like a ginjo-shu, but gradually changes to a fuller, more complex flavor that is typical of junmai sake.
The aftertaste is slightly longer than normal.
At about 1,300 yen for 4 gou of sake, it is probably more cost-effective than other summer sakes.
Recommended for intermediate-level sake drinkers.

Cheese-like aroma. There is no sense of maturity on the palate, and it has a smoothness that is typical of 50% polished aluzome. When it is cold, it is too refreshing, but as the temperature rises, the sweetness and deliciousness come out.

Texture is light.
When you put it in your mouth, the sweet and umami taste of rice spreads out and it is not too dry.

There is almost no bitterness, and it has a balanced light and umami taste.
It goes well with meals, and one chopstick after another and one cup after another will not stop.

This sake is made in Miyama-cho, Kurume City, along the Chikugo River, one of Fukuoka's most famous sake brewing areas.
Because it is unpasteurized, the alcohol content is a little high at 16 degrees.
It had a very fruity aroma and was so gorgeous that it could have been a Junmai Daiginjo.
A gift from an acquaintance in Fukuoka Prefecture🍶.
This sake is made from 100% Yamadanishiki produced in Itoshima, Fukuoka Prefecture.
The aroma is mild with a hint of green apple🍏.

We chose the local Ikegame dry junmai sake!

Umami bitterness spreads on the palate and is quickly quenched.
