It is a gift from a friend.
It is said to be a sake that is shipped at this time of the year after being laid down in the snow.
I was expecting it to be light and dry, which is typical of Niigata, but it was smooth and sweet at the beginning. The spiciness comes in the second half, but it does not linger on the back of the palate, leaving a beautifully lingering umami aftertaste.
I think it is an elegant food sake.
It is easy to match with any dishes and easy to drink, so it was the kind of sake that adds flowers to the dining table.

The bottle said it was awarded for heating sake, but since it is basically cold, I enjoyed it cold.
The sweetness of the rice was very strong and delicious.
