It’s Winter here, so though I would have a fresh Winter nihonshu. Previously had it with sushi.
Day 1: fruity apple flavour, with slight dryness. Had it with ham and pea soup, where the dryness was accentuated. Very good palate cleanser.
Day 3: the flavour had deepened more fruity umami, little dryness by itself. Had miso-ginger pork cutlet, and again tasted more dry with food, with good length.
Day 5: by itself, about the same as day 3. Tonight had motsunabe. Goes very well with it. Delicious!
