I stumbled upon Udagawa Shoten's private brand 😳 during my Masamune research activities.
It's inspired by the best-selling sake in Edo 🙄... 🙄.
The label says "Masamune" in large letters and only "Masamune" on the back label. You can feel the dignity of the original 🤗.
The store seems to be run by a couple, and the customer service was excellent and the shopping experience enjoyable 😄.
They recommend heating Masamune to lukewarm 🤔.
It is true that in the Edo period, sake was either room temperature or heated, so I guess lukewarm is better 🤔.
But in the 2025 era, it was cold sake to 🧊.
There is still alcohol smell in the aroma.
The sweetness that wafts through the air and the tight alcohol taste. It is a taste that goes from sweet and delicious 😝.
Next, it is lukewarm 🔥.
The alcohol smell has disappeared and the sweetness has become mild. I feel a slight tingling on my tongue 🤔.
It goes down the throat and it's a nice old sake 🍶 As expected from the original: ❗️
This might be good to have a Hira cup like a historical drama 🤗.

It is not a crisp type, and the bitterness stands out. As the temperature rises, you can taste the rice flavor little by little.
