Almost a year since I bought this alcohol.
I'm still having trouble opening it.
Thanks to your article, I have decided to open this sake 🥹.
The aroma is not so strong right after opening the bottle, but you can smell a hint of lactic acid!
The mouthfeel is smooth and has a rounded sweetness (I haven't had much of that 😅)
The taste is rich and thick, with a good amount of alcohol.
The aftertaste has a subtle astringency and bitterness, and the balance is excellent!
To be honest, I don't feel much of the sake's "sake yeast" character, except for a bit of lactic acidity at the beginning.
Or maybe it's because I left it too long.
It rained so much this year that I couldn't eat any of the delicious mangoes that I look forward to every summer 🥭.
I recently bought some pre-cut coconuts🥥 at the market, which looked cheap and convenient at about 100 yen.

Taiwan is a tropical country, but this coconut 🌴 is probably not domestic, superbebeI think it's imported from Southeast Asia, like Thailand or the Philippines 🤔.
Tastes great, smells like coconut milk🥥 and it's so refreshing you can gobble it up! superbebeI stumbled upon it in an inconspicuous area of a liquor store.
I get super excited when I find it, so I'm happy about that✨.

Sake made with "Gohyakumangoku" from Sado Island
Light fruity aroma
Tropical nuances such as lychee, coconut and coconut milk
Full of freshness with a nice slight effervescence
Firm sweetness and flavor
Sweet and sour fruitiness spreads in the mouth 😋.
The rich umami and gentle acidity intertwine with each other gently like silk.
There is a lingering aftertaste, but it is not harsh and crisp.
Niigata sake is said to be light and dry, but this is different!
Sake is fun 😚.
The snack was a piece of nori seaweed that I bought in Saga on this trip, sandwiched between eel and camembert cheese 🤭.

The moment I opened the bottle, it made a nice sound! It sounded so good!
I opened the bottle six months after I bought it, and it was amazing that it had a perfect gassy feeling 😋.
The bouncing fizzy feeling is fun and very easy to drink!
A hint of sweetness
The flavor is soft.
The bitterness of grapefruit gives it a sharpness that I really like!
I drank the whole bottle in no time 🤣.
I first heard of Fukkai through a recommendation from a yakitori restaurant in Kumamoto!
After drinking it at the yakitori restaurant, I immediately went to the liquor store and bought two bottles to bring back to Taiwan!

I think Taiwan's national liquor is Kaoliang liquor from Kinmen!
It is distilled liquor.
It has a strong flavor, so I recommend drinking it cold.

Texture is smooth but tears in the glass.
Slightly tangy in the first sip after opening the bottle
Slight acidity and a slight astringency with a firm sweetness and umami.
Well-balanced with a moderate aftertaste.
When it reaches room temperature, the astringent taste is a bit strong.
I like it when it is cooled by snow.
Next time, if I have a chance, I would like to have it with broiled eel 🤤.
