I tried it because it was a campaign to support Ishikawa Prefecture.
Slightly amber in color and a bit on the dry side?
It definitely has a nutty aroma that lingers.
On its own, it has a slightly sweet and fruity flavor, but when paired with a snack, it turns into a sober sake that does not spoil its flavor, just like the Japanese people themselves.
The collaboration with the dashimaki tamago (egg roll) pictured in the background is superb!
We recommend pairing it with a light-flavored entrée.
