Niigata sake and salted ikagoro-gori from Aomori, given to me by my father-in-law on New Year's Day. It's so good. It's the best.
I drank it on the rocks because the sake is very strong.
It is faintly sputtering. I couldn't keep track of the Hana-hato I drank the other day, "again chirichiri-jiwahn," so this time I found a pure sake and bought it.
Hana-hato is a very gentle and enveloping sake, and even my husband, who is not so good at sake, says "this is dangerous. It's not too flamboyant, but it's fruity, clean, but not too sweet and not too clean.
The Tiffany blue label is fashionable.
Junmai Ginjo Nama Genshu. The rice is polished to 50%. It's supposed to taste fresh for about a month from the date of production, but it's already been over two months... A subtle melon ginjo aroma. It has a firm taste. Dry taste. It is dry. You can feel the carbonation on the tongue. Maybe because it's undiluted sake.
Couldn't resist buying some sake since we had the snapper! Lovely aroma from the moment you open it. It's mellow but refreshing. It's easy to buy at the local supermarket.
It says that the yeast was developed using mutagenesis technology with heavy ion beams accelerated by the RIKEN accelerator "Ring Cyclotron". I was wondering if they used a huge accelerator like Evangelion. The ginjo aroma is fruity, but clean and delicious.
I didn't have a photo of it by itself... Hanayo-yoku is a very popular sake that I happened to come across at a nearby liquor store. It has a gorgeous fragrance and is good for celebrations.
