Drinking Night at Fukuna Sakai with My Regular Friends - Part 2 After leaving Fukuna Sakai, we went to Sushi House Mukashi Banashi, a sushi restaurant right next to the restaurant. I had seen the signboard since I was a child, but I had never been inside the restaurant, so I decided to take this opportunity and went inside to finish my meal. I decided to order some sake to go with the sushi, so I checked the menu and saw that it only said "cold sake", so I asked for it and this one arrived, so I had a glass of sake. Kikusui Kikusui Dry Sake The aroma of fluffy rice, the taste is gentle and delicious, and it finishes with a clean and beautiful aftertaste. I've never had any other Kikusui besides Nunoguchi 🤔. The sushi is very good and the price is very reasonable! They also have a wide variety of snacks such as tempura, so I think I may come back for more drinks next time ✨. I had a great night with my friends after a long time 😁.

The first half of GW is over, and while the news is full of excitement about overseas travel with the strong yen, I'm still going at my normal pace tonight, drinking at my own leisure 🍶. I tried to open the rest of the "Kamikai" the other day, but there was not much left, so I opened this one, which I was curious about, to make up for the lack of sake 🍶. Kikusui Nanoguchi Ichibu Shiboribori Limited Edition Daiginjo-Nama Nama-shu. This time we drank it straight out of the can and in a glass with a Masu 😁. ［The first one is straight out of the can.] The aroma of cemedine is strong, and the mouthfeel is smooth with sweetness and umami without feeling the alcohol content of 19°. ［Masu glass.] Cemedine aroma, mild umami and sweetness on the palate, followed by a mild lingering aftertaste, and finally a bitter taste that lingers in the throat 🤔. If you can buy it in a handy can and it tastes like this, it's pretty tasty and convenient ✨. I was drunk by the time I finished it because of the 19° flavor 🙌 The 4th picture is the next day at Spice Territory Masuka for a curry lunch with my wife! I had the daily curry of the day (chicken keema, butter chicken, chechinade chicken, and mutton curry), and my wife had the firefly squid biryani! Curry with lots of spices on a day off from drinking

Shuji's Toriten (chicken tempura) with spinach with sesame paste. 😄 It's a limited item that comes out every November, It's usually sold in November. （I was surprised to see it on the market. Instead of brewed alcohol, it contains shochu made from sake lees. It has a rather robust, slightly classical, mellow, dry taste that goes well with meals and can also be savored on its own. It resembles Funaguchi's Ichiban Shibori Aged Ginjo-Nama Nama-shu (the red one), so perhaps this is its base? It went well with a Japanese dish of baked sweet potato (Silk Sweet) and blue cheese (Hanabatake Farm's Blue Camembert), a recipe from Abe-chan in Fukaya, Sake-no-wa, and a macaroni salad with octopus head. It also went well with low-temperature-cooked steak (Kumamoto's red beef from Furusato).

I was really curious about this limited edition Daiginjo✨. I say limited... but they sell quite a few 😅. The aroma of the regular can is not as sweet and mild as the regular can, and has a nice, clean aroma. Fresh and peachy on the palate. Fruitiness 🍑. Then a firm rice flavor (weaker than the normal can), followed by a sharp, mild astringent finish 😌. I think the regular can is for BBQ and the green can is for beach baked fish, but this one is.... I think it's more versatile, and I think it's for seafood, including sashimi 🐟. I want to stock up an icebox full of it and go out to various places 🚃. It's a great time of year to do so 😊. I would be happy if I could open more and more there - a bit of a luxury ✨.
