The label is cute. It is said to be a nigori raw sake from a noble brewery.
I had heard a lot about Senkyoku and had been curious about it because of its image of being highly praised every time I heard of it, but I live in a rural area and there are no stores that sell it, so I had not had a chance to try it. I am grateful for the chance encounter.
The aroma is LaFrance-like, sweet, and gorgeous. When I opened the bottle, I knew it was a delicious one.
The mouthfeel is gassy and relatively refreshing, but with a fruity sweetness.
The taste is juicy and refreshing, reminiscent of LaFrance or melon.
The aroma is fruity and slightly sweet.
I personally don't feel any alcohol at all, and it is very easy to drink, a so-called "dangerous alcohol. Even though I know it is not a cheap sake, I can't stop drinking it. It was supposed to be my last drink of the year. Next time, I'll have a Sengoku Modern or Naturals..." I thought with a drunken head. I was so drunk that I was thinking "What's next?
Yogurt, cotton candy, carbonation, and a hint of clove.
The wine is light, strongly effervescent, and has a matte throat.
The soft flavor is carbonated and swollen. Minerality, acidity, and light bitterness in the middle.
Serve with hot tofu, shrimp cocktail, or shrimp gratin.
Purchased 3 kinds of drinks to compare. I started with the "SESAME" and it was as good as I expected. The moderate acidity and slight gassiness make it a good food sake.
Winter is here.
This year's snowmen have been assembled in a very beautiful shape. The shape and size of the snow on top and the snow on the bottom are well balanced, and when the snow spheres are stacked on top of each other, they do not fall apart.
At first, I took only the top layer without mixing in the oli. I always liked the taste of this way and even thought it would be better not to mix it.
This time, however, it tastes better when mixed.
Mixing in the oli makes it silky to the palate and adds depth to the flavor. The flavor and sweetness that were exposed at first become beautifully blurred and spacey, as if laced.
It would be tactless to think that a slightly misshapen snowman might be better next time.
Shinshin SY took the snowman. I know Sentori, but I have not had much Tochigi sake and this is my first Sentori.
This cloudy sake has a restrained sweetness and is good as a food sake.
Read the back first..............................
In summary, I love love love love 🍶.
That's indeed too much to summarize... the thoroughness of the fact that all the ingredients are organic is seriously amazing✨ truly supernatural 🌾.
I'm going to dig a little deeper to convey Senkou's commitment 🍶.
Not only are they particular about the ingredients, but they also faithfully reproduce the traditional sake brewing method of the olden days, using the kamishibashi method, which takes much more time and effort than the current mainstream fast brewing method, and brewing in wooden vats!
Furthermore, no yeast is added (brewer's yeast), and the rice polishing ratio is 90% to reproduce the old days.
But if you want to know more about it, please check ☺️ (or not).
Now, let's drink it and make love
The aroma is mild but clean and lactic acidic✨.
The moment you put it in your mouth, you will be pleasantly surprised by the umami, green apple-like fresh acidity, elegant sweetness, and gasiness ♬♬ It is very easy to drink and has a nice sharp taste
It is very easy to drink and has a nice sharpness, and you will wonder if this is 90% polished rice ✨✨.
I think this bottle is full of the deliciousness that only Senkyoku can offer 🥰✨✨.
