Hiyoroshi, the one from Oumachi by Shichida-san.
I am an idiot who read "Shichiden" until a while ago 🥺.
It has a sweet aroma of ripe bananas with a little crisp nuance and no peculiar smell.
The first sip is characterized by the deep umami of rice and firm acidity, giving the impression of a medium to slightly dry taste 😋.
It is rich but has a crisp aftertaste, and I was drinking it while thinking that it would definitely go well with the autumn taste of Akinatai fish 🐟.
Good morning, Hiro 😌.
There are some brands and sake rice that you misread if you don't look them up 🤣.
I guess everyone has to go through it 😆.
I couldn't even read OMACHI at first so I muddled it up😇.
It is sweet and full-bodied, but the phenolic aroma characteristic of Omachi makes it refreshing to drink.
It has a strong Oumachi flavor, so there may be different tastes.
I love it.
Safe return from a two-night business trip🚙🫡 on such a day here: 💁♂️
Let's start with the standing aroma. It smells like ripe bananas. In the mouth, there is a grain-like sweetness of rice, a strong richness and umami that is typical of Omachi, and a crisp spiciness at the end along with acidity.
Serve with oden (oden stew). It is a good mid-meal sake when paired with rich foods such as beef tendon and eggs. On the other hand, when paired with light foods, the full flavor of this sake comes out. It may be a good match with food that has a certain amount of strong character.

An immediate bitterness after the refreshment, but it doesn't leave a bad aftertaste. I'd say it's refreshing, but I think it leaves a bit of bitterness...
Shichida - Shichiawari-Gobunshi Hikari Aizan Hiyoshi Oroshi
Rating 4.4
Alcohol level: 16; Sake meter: +0.2; Acidity: 1.6; Rice: Aiyama; Polishing ratio: 75
This sake is carefully brewed to maximize the unique flavor of the rice, which comes out only due to the low degree of rice polishing. It has a lychee and muscat aroma with an elegant sweetness reminiscent of wasanbon. It is not too heavy and has a sharp sake quality.
Natsumi Shichida
Gathering information before going out.
I looked it up on my phone and YouTube.
My wife said it was a bit confusing.
So I bought a guidebook ✌️
Yamanashi, where we are going at the end of this month.
It's like every year in Yamanashi at this time of the year.
mainly grapes.
To buy my wife's favorite fruit😁.
And we are going to go in December.
Mie after a long time from Wakayama where we are going for the first time.
The first day, mainly Nanki-Shirahama.
Day 2, to Toba while going to the Nachi area.
On the third day, after visiting Ise Jingu Shrine
Ise Jingu Shrine, and then return home with a bit of sightseeing.
This is my first visit to Wakayama, and I am wondering where to go.
If you have any good information
If you have any good information, I would be happy to hear from you. ☺️
This time I drank Shichida for the first time.
It's still hot, so summer sake is still on the menu 😭.
I haven't been able to go shopping for fall sake yet😭
Refreshing fruity aroma.
A refreshing fruity aroma, a refreshing sweetness, and a moderate umami flavor.
There is also a hint of sourness in the latter half.
Well balanced and delicious sake✨
And the alcohol content of 14 degrees is not too heavy.
Easy to drink even in hot summer 👍
Good evening, Manta-san!
It's a fun time to gather information about your upcoming trip 🎵.
Looking forward to it 😊
I'm also looking forward to your sake and rah reviews 😁✨✨.
I haven't had Nanada yet, but it looks like a refreshing and easy drink 😋.
ma-ki - hello ^_^
Yes, I am.
We are having a great time, where to go and what to eat: ✌️
It was my first time to Nanada too, so I would like to continue drinking when I have a chance😊.
Hi Manta 🌞.
I've been using instagram lately to find out where to go on my trips 😆 Influencers have been introducing a lot of good stuff and I can cover all the food and sightseeing 😆.
Hi Manta 😃
I'm sure you'll want to buy a copy of Rurubu for your trip! It's easy to search online, but Rurubu is still reliable 🥰.
Yamanashi is also good for wineries 🍇I've never been to Wakayama 😅...
Hi Manta 😃
I traveled last year by the reverse route of eating and walking, Yokoyama observatory in Toba, Nachi soba Kii-Katsuura, Takehara tuna and whale, Shirahama, the classic Marudaya is good, but also Fukurishi Mayfly Cafe was good 😃.
Hi Manta 😃
Planning a trip! It's fun 🤗 we pretty much decide after watching YouTube recommendations 😅.
This is Shichida! We had it at the beginning of summer too! It's a refreshing and delicious summer sake 😋.
Hello ichiro18 ^_^
I have the Mayfly Cafe under control, but the fresh mayflies look delicious✨.
I was planning to stay in Toba only, but the view from Yokoyama observatory is nice😊.
I'll try to go there while taking a walk in Fuku ✌️
Hi Jay & Nobby ^_^
When I have time now, all I watch is the Dodgers game or YouTube 😁.
I can't afford to buy it with my normal stocking, but I'd love to drink Shichida again ☺️
Sake Souzake. The aroma has a hint of sweetness, and the hint of fragrance is stronger. The taste is sweet and chili at first, with the umami coming in later. The bitterness and sharpness come at the end. Orthodox? I feel that the brewing water must be delicious! It's amazing how refreshing it is even though it's unfiltered.
Shichida Shichibari Gobun Polishing Omachi Hi Hiyaoroshi
Rated 4.3-4.4
Alcohol level: 17; Sake meter: +4; Acidity: 1.6
Rice: Omachi, Polishing ratio: 75
Aged for half a year, it has a plump, slightly mellow taste derived from "Omachi rice produced in Okayama Prefecture" and is very drinkable. The aroma is reminiscent of ripe fruit. It has a slightly pungent bitterness that converges slightly, but it seems to go well with meat dishes.
