While taking a walk to Beppu, I went to Kotani Sake Brewery, a 3-minute walk from Beppu Station. This is one of my three favorite liquor stores, along with Maruda Shuho and Kasagi Shuten, where I usually go.

Fruity and slightly effervescent with a hint of sourness.
So good!
Although it is a kijo-zake, the sweetness is not dull, and the light acidity and moderate bitterness are refreshing, and the sweetness of the rice stands out. I thought it was the most delicious kijo-zake I have ever tasted.
